The beach is only 700 meters from the house, and one of Denmark's best sandy beaches, with dunes and very child-friendly. Whether the cottage is used for relaxation, coziness by the wood stove or trips to the beach and in the woods, it is a really good starting point to relax from everyday life and enjoy life. The cottage is ideal for families with children and couples who want peace and quiet and to be at one with nature. From the house, it is only 50 meters down to the beach with perfect swimming opportunities.

Sit back and relax in our little summer cottage set in beautiful natural surroundings and just an hour's drive from Copenhagen. There is only one open space and the summerhouse is therefore perfect for a romantic getaway, weekend with girlfriends or a maternity excursion to nature. There are two double beds, small kitchen with oven, fridge and dishwasher, a toilet, a shower and a large sunny wooden terrace where you will find a gas grill and double sunbed. Haven har en stor græsplæne med plads til leg og aktiviteter i det fri, mens de hyggelige terrasser indbyder til frokost under åben himmel. Boligens hjerterum er det hyggelige køkken-alrum, som gør det muligt at prioritere samvær på tværs af madlavning og forskellige aktiviteter. Boligen er funktionelt opdelt med tre soveværelser og yderligere to alkover med sove mulighed.

Idyllic former farmhouse in Danish countryside

The house is a traditonal Danish countryside house, 20 km from Roskilde. Here you can enjoy the Danish “hygge”, with peace and nature that you’ll find nowhere else. Relax on the terrasse in the garden, walk in the woods or to Gershøj beach. Go biking on the “fjordsti” which follows Roskilde and Ise fjord, just 1.5 km from the house. Bikes can be borrowed here for free. In winter, you can make a fire. Breakfast and dinner can be arranged upon request and against fees.
