Woubrugge Logies - Private Chalet in The Green Heart

This cosy, private chalet is perfectly located in The Green Heart of The Netherlands. By car only half an hour or less from Leiden, Amsterdam, Haarlem, The Hague, Delft, Gouda or the beaches. Woubrugge itself is a lovely small town along a characteristic canal that ends up in lake Braassemermeer. Sail, surf, swim, rent a motorboat, explore the beautiful surroundings by biking or hiking or relax in the garden. The chalet is a studio (40m2); comfortable for 2 persons. As the sofa bed can be transformed to a double bed the chalet is also suitable for young families or a group of friends. The chalet has one room (studio: 40m2) with a private bathroom. There is a double bed (size 210 x 160 cm) and a sofabed (size 200 x 140 cm). In the studio you will find a tv, a table with 4 chairs and a completely equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, toaster and a coffee-machine (coffee, tea and Dutch cookies (stroopwafels) are included in the price). A microwave for the guests is in the barn, next to the chalet. In this barn guests may park also their (rental) bikes or a pram. There is enough space for 4 persons, but do realize that you share the same room. The chalet is facing South, so you can enjoy the sun all day. And if you prefer to sit in the shade, you can sit under the large parasol. You will also find a cosy veranda to relax on and a lawn with fruit trees. Guests may use the chairs in front of the house on the riverside quay where you can sit, relax, have a drink and enjoy the spectacle of boats passing by. The chalet offers complete privacy. However, if you have any question or special wishes, we are most of the time in the neighbourhood or we can be reached by telephone. We love to help our guests and have a chat with them, if they like. Woubrugge is a small town half an hour or less from Leiden, Amsterdam, The Hague, and beaches. Follow the canal to The Braassemermeer, a lake which offers sailing, canoeing, and swimming. Bike, hike, and rent a motorboat to explore further afield. If you come by car: there are enough public parkingplaces near to the chalet. (for free). Public transport: Woubrugge can easily be reached by bus from Leiden Central Station. But also from Amsterdam / Schiphol Airport there is a good connection by train/speedbus. Woubrugge is part of several beautiful hiking and biking routes, so for hikers and bikers Woubrugge is a perfect place for a stay over night or for a longer period. - Smoking is not allowed in the chalet! There are games and on request we can prepare boxes with various toys for children aged 2-12. On the riverside quay you find a fine bakery. Apart from buying fresh bread and rolls there, you can have a coffee and pastries on the terrace overlooking the canal. If you don't feel like cooking yourself, you can have a delicious lunch or dinner at restaurant Disgenoten. Also this restaurant has a beautiful terrace on the waterside.

Cozy dike cottage at 50 m from lake + (surf)beach

Under the chestnut tree stands our romantic detached cottage in the picturesque Schellinkhood. Fully equipped with kitchen, bathroom, TV and 2 pers. bed with lovely mattress. In 10 steps you are on the sandy beach for swimming, sunbathing and (kite)surfing. Walk along the bird breeding area, bike in the area, golf in Westwoud or explore VOC port cities Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Bus stop and parking in front of the door. 30 min from Amsterdam. Cozy restaurant at 100m. Breakfast we arrange on the 1st day!

Unique Dutch Miller’s House

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Dit heerlijke huisje is de ideale plek om op te laden en te genieten van de rust in een prachtige omgeving. Temidden van de Waterlandse natuur maak je een van de mooie fietstochten, of stap je vanaf het terras in een kano voor een tochtje door het natuurgebied Varkensland. Het huisje is brandschoon en van alle gemakken voorzien, met goed uitgeruste keuken, eigen terras en parkeerplek. Quiet place, not far from Keukenhof, beach, dunes

Keukenhof en bollenvelden in 10 minuten: sfeervolle en rustige vakantiewoning op groot, afgesloten privéterrein met dieren: paarden, honden en kat. Strand en zee, Amsterdam, Schiphol-Airport, Haarlem, Den Haag zijn allen binnen een half uur bereikbaar: zeer centraal gelegen. The Old Beach House

This unique accommodation has an entirely private style. It is an old beach cottage that has become a beautiful contemporary cottage, with a fantastic view over the meadows. From your bed you look through the French doors to the meadows and you can enjoy the morning sun. At the front, you can see the "Stelling van Amsterdam" and over the meadows. From the terrace you can enjoy the sunset. Really a beautiful place.

COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.
