This lovely cottage is the ideal place to recharge and enjoy the tranquility in a beautiful setting. In the midst of the nature of the Waterlands, you can take one of the beautiful bike rides, or you can canoe from the terrace for a trip through the nature reserve Schweikensland. The cottage is beautiful and equipped with every comfort, with a well-equipped kitchen, private terrace and parking space. Waking up to the sound of birds—that’s how you enjoy a relaxing holiday in Waterland, close to the city.

Het Zaans Huisje

This detached cottage, in my backyard, is located in the heart of Zaandam, a 3-minute walk from Dam Square, 4 minutes from the cozy shopping street and 9 minutes from the Station. From the Zaans Huisje you can do all kinds of activities. For example, you can reach Amsterdam Central Station in 14 minutes by train and Zaanse Schans in 5 minutes. Please note that parking in front of the door is paid. The cottage is rented for 1 person and there is an extra bedroom available for an additional fee.

B&B Wellness "De Bourgondische Lelie"

Our B&B is equipped with all modern facilities such as a modern kitchen, Philips Hue lighting, smart TV and Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxury Jacuzzi and wood stove. The B&B with large private garden and unobstructed view is completely shielded from the farmhouse by a fence and is only accessible to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you can look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast of your choice is optional.

In the Garden

Looking for a nice place to stay with a lot of privacy? Just outside Utrecht, you will find Bed and Breakfast Au Jardin, where you can enjoy and relax. The guesthouse is at the back of our deep garden. You have your own entrance at the rear of the building. You can also park there. At the front, you can relax on the terrace. The Bed and Breakfast is located in De Meern, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Close to Utrecht and centrally located between Rotterdam, Amsterdam and The Hague.

Loft 1695

Our loft (built in 1695) is a special place that offers the best of both worlds. Amsterdam Centraal can be reached in less than 15 minutes by train, but you can also discover the history of the Zaanstreek. Within walking distance are nice cafes and restaurants, allowing you to discover the local flavors and culture. The famous Zaanse Schans is only 10 minutes away. Our loft offers privacy and is located in a peaceful neighborhood where you can escape from the hustle and bustle.

Unique Dutch Miller’s House

Stay in a traditional Dutch Miller’s Cabin beside an authentic 1632 windmill, surrounded by canals and nature in the North Holland countryside. Hand built during the windmill’s restoration, the cabin offers a peaceful and unique stay while still being close to Alkmaar and only 40 minutes from Amsterdam by train. I am a traditional Dutch miller born and raised in Alkmaar, and my American wife, Kelly, and I enjoy sharing this special place with guests from around the world.

A soothing, centrally located complete accommodation. The cottage is very cozy and complete and has a lovely terrace in the greenery, while you are only 200 meters from the center of Alkmaar and 10 minutes walk to the station. The cottage has its own entrance for maximum privacy and 1 free parking space. All comforts such as WiFi, TV, Stereo, AC, Combi oven, Washing/Drying machine, Kitchen equipment are provided. On the terrace there are chairs, a table and a BBQ.

The cottage is stylish and warmly decorated with fireplace and has French doors to various terraces that belong to our large garden, which you can use. The kitchen is fully furnished. With a double bed in the bedroom and adjoining spacious luxury bathroom, this apartment is the ideal getaway for couples who want to get away from it all.

The barn

Feel welcome! Behind our house is De Schuur, a romantic, cozy and unique guest house, equipped with every comfort so that you can relax and enjoy yourself. Enjoy the Jacuzzi and sauna on the veranda. There is a gas BBQ and a lovely outdoor fireplace. (BBQ and outdoor fireplace for a fee) The bakery with fresh rolls is within walking distance. Sypesteyn Castle is across the road. Amsterdam and Utrecht +/-20 min.

COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.
