Conveniently located 10-40 km from: Hoorn-Enkhuizen-Medemblik, Edam-Volendam-Marken. But certainly also Alkmaar, the Zaanse schans, Amsterdam and not to forget, the coast of Noord Holland.

This unique accommodation has an entirely private style. It is an old beach cottage that has become a beautiful contemporary cottage, with a fantastic view over the meadows. From your bed you look through the French doors to the meadows and you can enjoy the morning sun. At the front, you can see the "Stelling van Amsterdam" and over the meadows. You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.
