Holiday appartment in Oberammergau

Our flat was renovated in March 2013. You can expect a bright and modern living room with space for up to three people. The kitchenette is equipped with a dish-washer, stove, coffee/espresso maker, micro-wave, kettle, toaster, fridge and sink. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The bed room is on the first floor and offers a cozy double bed as well as a flat-screen TV with DVD-player. There is also a private terrace attached to the flat, with sunlight for almost the entire day as well as a garden. The house is built entirely of native wood and offers a particularly healthy living comfort. About Oberammergau: The small town of Oberammergau is located in the Bavarian Alps. It hosts the famous Oberammergau Passion Play every ten years. Much of its charme is due to the village's historical colourful houses ('Lüftlmalerei'). But Oberammergau is also an active community: a cinema, a theatre, a few museums and a variety of cafés and restaurants make Oberammergau a nice place to live. You can also easily reach the famous castles of Linderhof and Neuschwanstein (by car it will take you 15 or 45 min respectively to reach the castles). The Ettal Abbey is about 2 miles/4 km from Oberammergau, and you can walk or cycle there. In the winter, the Bavarian Alps are a skiing region. Oberammergau offers ski lifts for amateurs and pros alike. Garmisch-Partenkirchen (20 min by car) is Germany's largest ski ressort. We are member of the Königscard initiative, which means that you will be able to use the swimming pools, ski lifts, museums and many other activities (including boat tours, guided tours in the snow, theatre plays...) in Oberammergau and the entire region (Tirol, Ammergauer Alpen, Blaues Land, Allgäu) for free! There is more information available on the Königscard website which you can easily find with a search engine. This is a great offer for anyone who would like to make the most of their holiday and is entirely for free for you!

Small apartment with bathroom and kitchen

Small private apartment (20 square meters) with small, fine bathroom (shower / toilet) and pantry kitchen (electric stove, fridge, coffee maker) in a quiet yet central location. On foot, it is only 10 minutes to the train station or supermarket and it is only 15 minutes to the center of Murnau or to Lake Staffelsee. There is satellite TV/radio and parking in front of the house by the hedge. Use of the washing machine or dryer is available upon request. Incl. guest card (e.g. discount for mountain railway, museums, lidos, etc.)

We are happy to welcome you as guests in our 1-room apartment on the edge of the forest. The small apartment Waldeck has a well-equipped kitchenette, a dining area with TV, a 1.80 m wide box spring bed and a shower with toilet. WiFi can be used free of charge. The house entrance is at ground level, then you go down a staircase. The apartment, with an 18 sqm terrace and seating furniture, is then also at ground level, as our house is located on the slope. The tourist tax is added to the final price.

The apartment is newly equipped and rustic elements such as the wood-burning stove from Uroma or the Tyrolean parlor ensure coziness and special vacation hours. The view of the mountains and fresh mountain air ensure immediate relaxation. The surroundings offer beautiful moments and all kinds of possibilities in both summer and winter. Our apartment (in a 3-family house) in the basement, is located between Munich and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, in the middle of the “Pfaffenwinkel.“ The optimal starting point for numerous excursions to sights or also sporting activities such as hiking or cycling. Larger shopping facilities can be found in Weilheim, Peißenberg or Murnau. In addition, a natural swimming pond with a small Kneipp facility is about 1 km away and allows spontaneous refreshment at any time of the day
