Up to 10 stork families nest in the village from April to August each year.

The cycle path network is well developed and a restaurant is within walking distance in about 250 m.

Perwenitz Künstlerhof

Near Berlin, at the northern end of Perwenitz, surrounded by fields, is the residence of the former mill. The two-storey mill building was built around 1890 and used for the production of flour and animal feed until 1994.
