Bright Urban Studio with Private Courtyard

This is a self contained private room, with your own kitchenette, bathroom and courtyard, in a very handy location, minutes walk to the city, shops, restaurants and transport. You will be in Chippendale, there is plenty of good cafes, funky restaurants, bars and art galleries around, including the world famous White Rabbit Gallery. The house is a 7 minute walk to Redfern Station or 10 minutes to Central train Station, 20-50 min walk to the city, and is very close to Broadway Shopping Centre and Central Park where you can do your shopping. It is only a 20 minute walk to the buzzing Newtown, Surry Hills and Darling Harbour with all of their restaurants and pubs . Also at walking distance is Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA), Sydney University (USYD), University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and Carriageworks. It is very easy to get to all Sydney's major attractions from here - you are one easy 15 min bus ride or train ride away from the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. It takes minutes to drive to Bondi and many other beaches as well as National Parks. From the airport it is only a 20 minute drive, or a short train ride. This place has everything you need to have a lovely and comfortable stay: - wi-fi Internet; - 39-inch Smart TV, so that you can log into your Netflix, Stan and others apps to watch your favourite movies and videos; - kitchen with all appliances, including fridge, 2 burner cooktop, and a oven/microwave; - a washer/dryer and iron; - queen size bed with super comfy memory foam mattress; - if you would like to sleep separately to your travel partner the sofa bed can be made for a small fee of $25 on request; - portacot, high chair and baby bath are available on request if you are travelling with a little one; - all bed linen and towels are provided. We are looking for someone who will appreciate this place and and take good care of it. Please note: -This studio is a few steps below street level, so you will need to go down a few steps. If you wish to stay for a shorter or longer period of time send me a message and we can work something out. Entire room, with a kitchenette, bathroom and courtyard all for yourself. I give my guests space, but I am always available for questions and can run over should they need anything. Chippendale is a small underground, creative, and funky suburb. It is home to cafes, art galleries, restaurants, bars, parks, and a big sustainable community that keeps verge gardens full of fruit, vegetables, and herbs for all to share. It is super easy to get around by bike, or simply by foot (note it is a 20-50 minute walk into the city depending on where you are going). There are 2 train stations walking distance from the house, Central Station (+or- 11 min walk) or Redfern Station (+or- 7 min walk), There are also buses all around. Street Parking is available, it is paid and time restricted to 1-2 hours during the day. At night it is free and unlimited. There are some free all day parking a short walk away. To get to the house from the Airport the 2 easiest options are: Train - AU$17 per person. It comes every 5 to 10 minutes and it takes about 10-15 minutes into Redfern or Central, then you have to walk for about 10 minutes to the apartment. Taxi - the easiest option and most cost effective if there is more than 1 of you. It costs between $25-$40 and it takes about 20 minutes (allow a little more time to get into and from the International Airport).

Heritage Terrace in a Waterfront Suburb Close to Everything.

Walk through the French doors leading onto the private balcony to admire Harbour Bridge views in this updated heritage home. Bright, cheerful and pastel-toned, the rooms are separated by sliding glass doors with heavy drapes for privacy. Living room converts to the second bedroom with a large L shaped sectional sofa that has a comfortable queen bed if required. Large Victorian terrace house offering 2 bedrooms with very comfy queen bed in 1 room and a large L shaped sectional sofa with a queen sized pull out bed in the 2nd (lounge room) The rooms are divided by a large sliding glass door, which can be closed and and made private with heavy drapes. Area is lockable and private. Both rooms have separate doors. Fully air conditioned and each room has ceiling fans. Add to this the almost permanent refreshing breezes, you are bound to be 100% comfortable. Double french doors opening to a balcony with clear views of the harbour bridge. Great spot for that first morning cup of tea or coffee. Full private bathroom with large soaking tub and glassed in shower! You have ample wardrobe hanging space, smart TVs, coffee making facilities, microwave and mini fridge. Access to full kitchen (isn't there a rule about NOT cooking whilst on holidays) , and courtyard with BBQ facilities. Guests will have access to kitchen and back courtyard with barbque I am always available if you need anything. The terrace lies in Balmain, close to so many amenities, including ferries, buses restaurants and boutiques. Close to Darling Harbour, Pyrmont, and the city, it's also a few doors down from the London Hotel, which hosts the area's best steakhouse. There are buses and ferries to all the favourite haunts and Balmain has many great walks around the foreshores. Bus to CBD takes under 15 minutes. Ferry to Circular Quay is around 10 minutes.
