The house is 200 sqm and has a large terrace with lovely evening sun and a view of the water, directly from the kitchen and 2 balconies. Strängnäs Centrum about 10 - 15 minutes away. Large living room that is open to the kitchen with brilliant views towards the water. Absolutely the best option, most welcome.

Welcome to the idyllic and picturesque Mariefred, our brand beer, and to our orangery! The Orangery is located in central Mariefred at Strandvägen 15. Just as the address reveals it is close to swimming but also nice restaurants and stores. Here in the kitchen, Leila bakes have been recorded once in a while, so if you like to cook, the kitchen is well equipped! There's a patio to eat, grab a cup of coffee, or sunbathe at. Two separate 120 beds as well as a sofa bed, a shower, a shower, a toilet, etc. Welcome!

We have a living area of 240 sqm and a plot of 7500 sqm in the middle of the rural idyll. Here you will find horse pastures, nature and proximity to Taxinge's castle cafe, Mariefred, Stockholm and Strängnäs. We offer large deck, access to gym, fireplace, balcony with seating area, hot tub, greenhouse with dining group, pergola with fire pit and a big garden for play. Welcome to our beloved home!

Turn of the century villa by Lake Mälaren own jetty, beach.

Are you a party looking for a rural home by Lake Mälaren, which has private beach and large areas with all the amenities available? Villa Gurli was built in 1912 and in the last year has undergone an extensive renovation to regain its former glory. With a private jetty/boat place, it is also possible to get here by boat. The accommodation is about 1 hour by car from Stockholm on beautiful Selaön, with proximity both to nature and rich wildlife. About 15 minutes away there are both Strängnäs and Mariefred.

Ekbacka Lake house - Cabin with lake view

Newly built modern cabin in the woods with amazing lakeview. The house was built in 2020 and is located on a hill near Lake Mälaren just 1 hour from Stockholm. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 of them with double bed and 1 with a bunk bed. All bedrooms have black out curtains so that the bedroom gets completely dark. 1 bathroom with a toilet and 1 guest toilet. There is also a newly built sauna.A large living room / kitchen with an amazing view through the large windows. Parties are not allowed.

Högberga farm

Come and stay in our cozy 19th century house in the heart of the farm. Skating in cold weather and sledding in lots of snow in the yard. * Access to wood-fired sauna is available for SEK 100 per time. * Barbecuing at the log cabin in the adjacent forest is possible. * Beach at Lake Mälaren is a few kilometers away. * Strängnäs city center is about half a mile from the farm. * Bed linens and towels are brought by the guest, but can be rented for SEK 50 per guest. Pre-booked.

Stallet

Det lilla stallet som är från 1600 har omvandlats till en petit gästlägenhet. Här finns inte rinnande vatten men väl ett gammeldags charmigt kök med modern utrustning. Toaletten består av en modern förbränningstoalett. Dusch finns tillgängligt i en intilliggande byggnad. På gården finns det höns, bikupor, hundar och katter. Gården ligger i en lugn ålderdomlig by omgiven av skog och åkermark men med idylliska Mariefred runt hörnet.

Located in the woods with a view over the lake Mälaren you can live in an off-grid cabin life. Take a break from the city's hectic life, go back to nature and enjoy Sweden in a unique way. We call the cabin "Bergabo" and really enjoy sharing it with people who appreciate the nature and the simple life as much as we do. The well appointed and cozy house is located directly on a tranquil lake with its own small sandy beach and private pier, as well as a huge sun deck. Overlooking the sparkling lake, guarding the glittering lake and taking trips to the beautiful surroundings not far from Stockholm from here. We cannot accept bookings of groups with more than 4 adults (plus children).
