Votre sejour sera bed and breakfast, en general servi sur la terrasse l'été, jusqu'à 10 h .Pas d'acces à la cuisine , mais un frigo est à votre disposition sur la terrasse . C'est un maison de ville proche de la plage, vos déplacements seront faciles avec la ligne de bus à proximité et un stationnement gratuit. De nombreuses animations à Antibes et aux alentours tout l'été. Il y a un chien pas méchant du tout La chambre est à l'étage ( comporte des marches ) , salle de bains à partager avec les autres chambres .

My apartment was completely redone in May 2017 we put all our heart to make it pleasant and functional. I think you will not miss anything! The studio is located on the second floor and is 30m2 with a main room, a bathroom with bath and toilet and a balcony of 6m2. The bed is a sofa bed but quality with a real mattress. I provide sheets, towels, tea towels, sponges, pq, ... The street is quite busy (one person found this annoying) but the apartment is equipped with double glazing and I did not have any other complaints.

Je ne vous conseille pas de réserver mon appartement si vous souhaitez vous rendre à Pied dans les restaurants ou bar, le quartier est pauvre en service de ce type.

Residence Anthala was built in the 1980s so is typical of the era. It is a five minute walk to local shops: Boulangerie/café, Casino mini-market (7 days), Tabac, Hairdresser, Pharmacy and takeaways. Lidl is 12 mins walk up St-Claude and Carrefour is a 5 minute drive or 3 stops by bus. The apartment is on the 3rd floor at the back of the building overlooking the well-maintained gardens, so it's very quiet. There is a main 25m pool and a baby pool. The two tennis courts are excellent too.

The apartment was newly-furnished in June 2018. The apartment has its original fittings; the bathroom and WC are yet to be updated but they are well maintained …. just forgive the avocado wall tiles in the bathroom! Whilst the apartment can sleep four, there is only one bathroom (ensuite to the bedroom) and there is a separate WC in the main hallway. You will therefore need to be comfortable with additional guests having access to the bathroom via the bedroom or passing through the living area to reach the WC. I hope you will find the apartment very clean, bright and comfortable. The full-width balcony is a major feature as the windows run from the kitchenette through the living space and to the bedroom for wonderful light and air. The balcony is 2m wide so gives lots of space for relaxing or entertaining as the inside becomes outside, with ease. The balcony has three 'zones'. The kitchen end includes a plancha grill on an outdoor table so you can create extra cooking space. There is also a full size wine chiller and a large ottoman for all the beach, tennis and shopping accoutrements. The middle of the balcony has a bistro table and two chairs and the far end has a six seater L-shaped sofa with coffee table … perfect for Sunday mornings or apero. (Please note there is some peeling on the ceiling of the balcony. This is the responsibility of the management company (Syndic) and we are awaiting the renovation in 2020). The living area has a large L-shaped sofa which pulls out into a king-size sofa bed and the ottoman long end cleverly stows the bedding. Or why not stretch out and watch a movie or two on the Smart TV. Log into Netflix, Prime or any other favourite streaming services. Or you can connect your device to Bluetooth on the Philips music player and enjoy your favourite playlists. The bedroom is white and airy too. A lovely haven for rest with everything neatly secreted in the full-length wardrobes. The bed is also an ottoman with plenty of space for spare bedding (and a mattress topper to make the sofa-bed extra comfy). Sarah, the owner, is a keen cook. So although the kitchenette is undeniably small, it is very well-equipped with an induction hob, a small combi-oven in the cupboard below, and a large selection of bowls and utensils. She has hosted a 5-course dinner party or two, so it works well, if you are organised and tidy! Don't forget to use the plancha grill (and table) for extra workspace and the wine chiller can store desserts etc pre-serving.

Anthala is in a nice residential neighbourhood. Chemin de Saint-Claude is busy as it's a main route between Sophia-Antipolis and Antibes but as the apartment is at the rear, you will find it very quiet. The Trambus line should be working in 2020 and that will create a superb fast link to Antibes bus/train stations and the town centre (although it's only 10-12 min stroll to the stations and 15 mins to the town, the Trambus will be a very modern convenience!)
