Walking to the train station (connection to Lübeck) takes 5-10 minutes. Although you can't see the water, you can see the big ferries from the bedroom window.

The Lübeck district of Schlutup is located directly on the Trave and is a great starting point for various day trips. The sea in Travemünde or Niendorf - as well as the city center of Lübeck - can be reached quickly by car, bike or bus. The surrounding forest and heathland areas invite you to take long walks and bike rides. Via the A1 or A20 you can quickly reach Hamburg, Fehmarn, Wismar or Schwerin. It's also close to Hansapark (amusement park).
