The house where the farmer used to live with his family has been converted into a comfortable apartment with a spacious living room and open kitchen downstairs, overlooking the meadows and the terpkerk of Wanswert. The apartment is in personal style and fully furnished. Where possible, we used second chance furniture. Together with the piano and comfortable wood stove, a nice living climate is created. The apartment has a cozy private garden all around, a private front door and lots of privacy.

Our house was built in 1912 and has been lovingly renovated in recent years. The guesthouse is located on the entire 2nd floor, which is lockable and offers a lot of privacy. It is a bright, comfortable, spacious floor with good WiFi connection. The decor is tasteful, with a nod to the seventies. Ideal location: you can walk to the center within 15 minutes and the Noorderplantsoen is a stone's throw away. North train and bus station is a 5-minute walk.

This cozy apartment is right on Makkum Beach. From the sunny balcony you have a view of the lake and the cozy boulevard. Downtown Makkum is a 5-minute drive/30-minute walk away. Really everything is at hand for the perfect holiday: surfing/sailing schools, the touring boat, cycling and hiking routes, beach pavilions, the charming center of Makkum and of course the beautiful sunset!
