Lyts Kastieltsje, a quiet cottage in an orchard

Lyts Kastieltsje is one of our 2 properties. The other is the peaceful East Punsmiert chalet. Both are a short walk from the Waddenzee, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the largest tidal area on Earth. The cottage was once part of the cooling barn for the old fruit farm. It is surrounded by over a hectare of gardens, orchards and meadow which provide a home for our three sheep, bees and many species of birds. The orchards contain plum, quince, medlar and different varieties of apple and pear trees.

A cozy house with a spacious living-dining room, fully equipped kitchen and bedroom with very comfortable kingsize bed on the second floor in a quiet street in Harlingen city. Ideal for a holiday or home office use. Entrance, bathroom and toilet on the ground floor. Close to supermarket, the city centre, Harlingen beach and Vlieland & Terschelling ferry terminal. There is paid parking available in the street or at Spoorstraat parking (150 m). Indoor parking for bicycles available upon request.

Cozy and charming cottage with its own entrance and a sunny, south-facing terrace. Free parking. In front of my house. The duvets are 2-in-1. They are washed every time. After the guests have departed. You really have to duck when going up the stairs. Otherwise, you'll bump your head. Small air conditioning available. And a fan as well. Within walking distance along the harbor. The center (15 min) is there, with cozy terraces. The station (10 min) and the beach (20 min) are there.

The house offers three bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom. It’s understated elegant interiors have been published in the UK House and Garden and the Residence interior magazines. Guests get to use the grand blue room with velvet clad walls and the souterrain kitchen with wood burning stove. There is a peaceful city garden with BBQ and outdoor seating. In the winter one can enjoy cosy evenings besides the various fireplaces, long dinners in the kitchen or baths in one of the bathrooms.

The Voorhuis of the farm has been converted into a spacious guesthouse overlooking the garden, meadows. We have an organic dairy farm and work with nature as much as possible. Stay in the middle of the historic center of Harlingen in a spacious, independent ground-floor apartment of about 75 m². Shops, restaurants, monumental streets, the harbors and the ferries to Terschelling and Vlieland are within minutes walking distance. You have a spacious living room, a separate bedroom, an eat-in kitchen, a bathroom with a washing machine, and a sheltered backyard. This also makes the accommodation comfortable for a midweek or a vacation of one to two weeks.

The house is located on the outskirts of the city center in a street without continuous traffic and is therefore very quiet; the associated garden offers absolute privacy. The house has a large living room, a large kitchen and a spacious bedroom, with bathroom and suite. In the space between the kitchen and bedroom, there is a bunk bed. There is a separate toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is WiFi throughout the apartment. Both room and bedroom have a (smart) TV.

Cozy house near the center of Harlingen

A warm and cozy house within walking distance of the city center of Harlingen. You can park your car (for free) on your own property. The house is very suitable for young families and features a spacious front and back garden (with trampoline). The backyard faces south. On the many sunny days, the garden is flooded with sunlight. In addition to the 4 sleeping places, there is also a camping cot available. Please indicate this in advance so that it can be prepared.

RIJKSMONUMENT CENTRUM HARLINGEN - DESIGN INTERIEUR

This national monument from 1900 has been completely renovated. It hides behind its beautiful clock facade a stylish modern interior with tasteful design furniture from well-known Dutch top designers. You will not lack luxury and comfort because all conceivable equipment is available. On the roof terrace you can relax in peace with a drink + snack under the sounds of the carillon. Day Terschelling or Vlieland? No problem: the ferry is around the corner.

"De Mooie Liefde" Tiny house in Friesland.

Our "Beautiful Love" used to be the horse stable belonging to the centuries-old farm in which we live. In 2020, we transformed it together with a lot of love and passion into a tiny house with an old lived-in look. The green staircase leads upstairs to the beautiful loft with a 180x200 bed, with a double mattress and a double sheep wool duvet. Under the loft, you will find the beautiful bathroom and kitchen.
