Your entrance is separate, but we share a courtyard and driveway. Simple Comfort is located in historic Waynesboro, Virginia. We are in a quiet neighborhood, away from the busy highways and all their noise. Its an older neighborhood, but we find it simple and comfortable – our hope is that you will too. Once here you are 10 minutes from Shenandoah National Park, 10 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 10 minutes from the Appalachian Trail. We are also 30 minutes from the University of Virginia campus. It’s just over the mountain on Interstate 64.

Located 100 feet from the main house, in a separate building, is our studio. (Please note the studio is one room with bathroom, essentially like a hotel room ) We are a 20 min walk way from the downtown mall. Featuring a queen size bed, kitchenette (fridge, toaster oven, microwave, coffeemaker) Bathroom includes a marble wall. Floor is heated in the winter * Just added a semi sheer privacy curtain *We currently do not have a designated path leading to the studio. * No pets

Rainey’s Retreat, nestled between Ivy and Crozet

Our home is nestled in between Ivy and Crozet, Virginia at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We live on a private 2 acre lot that is surrounded by trees and wildlife. We have daily visits from deer, squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, a variety of birds, and on occasion we see fox and bears. It feels very secluded yet convenient to everything. We are just 8 miles from UVA, convenient to many local wineries and breweries, and have hiking and biking opportunities all around us.
