a nice neighborhood and a short 5 minute walk to the Sprint Pavilion and its music; the historic downtown mall with its restaurants, shops, and theaters; and the free trolley to UVA Belmont's special restaurants are only 2 blocks away. Sip coffee or wine from your own private balcony.
“The room is very nicely decorated and is very clean. It is in a great location for walking to the Pedestrian Mall. There really isn't a kitchen but there is a sort of pseudo kitchen in the bathroom. This was not a problem for us at all but if you really want a kitchen this is not the best place. Betty is very responsive to messaging but we never actually met her. This is not a bad thing because there was no reason for us to see her and that is a good thing. We were very happy staying here for two nights. We were here for an event at UVA.”
Minimalist private apartment in a popular downtown neighborhood. Private entrance w/ free/safe street parking. Enjoy a cozy queen bed, full kitchen, full bathroom, TV, all in the perfect location. Free specialty coffee roasted by a neighbor. ACTUALLY WALKABLE to the Historic Downtown Mall, breweries, and the hip Downtown Belmont restaurant scene. Ten minutes to both Monticello and UVA. 15 mins to numerous breweries and wineries. 20 mins to Shenandoah National Park/Skyline Drive and other hikes.
“Great home base from which to explore Charlottesville and the surrounding area! While I was out and about for most of my stay, Jill's place was the perfect cozy spot to spend my evenings. Just a heads up that the apartment is the second floor of a house, so there can sometimes be just a bit of noise from downstairs. This is not too loud to be disruptive, though.”
Our house is located in a quiet, breathtaking neighborhood, just minutes, by foot, from Charlottesville's fabulous pedestrian mall. From the Mall a free trolley is available, or you can walk, to the grounds of the University of Virginia.
“Staying at Matt's place was very pleasant and I would definitely recommend it. The room and bathroom was clean and cozy, parking was easy, and Matt was very quick to respond to communication and make sure I had everything I needed for a good stay. It seemed like he had put some thought and effort into being accommodating and making a nice space. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful but it only took us about 12 minutes to walk to the Charlottesville downtown mall. Overall a very good experience.”
