Cute and quirky 3-bedroom 1920's cottage

Cicada Glen Cottage is a beautiful, unique place to stay. The cottage is situated at the rear of a semi rural property that is home to a native nursery and bush regeneration business. It is an 8 minute drive to Mona Vale and the beach. The cottage was built in the 1920s with many of the original features retained giving it a very quirky character. Unfortunately the cottage isn't suitable for children under 12 yrs due to the water features and vintage glass used in the original windows.

Great space for a getaway, with beds for four and a BBQ. Plenty of beaches nearby, Palm Beach lighthouse, dog-friendly parks, golf courses, and famous 'The Newport Arms' beer garden. Regular bus services to Palm Beach, Manly and Sydney city. Breakfast items (eggs, milk, bread, cereal, tea, coffee) are provided. Outdoor smoking area available. LGBTQIA+ friendly. NB: Wi-Fi available, but, in case of a service outage, internet availability can't be guarenteed. Likewise with streaming TV.

Light & airy 1 bedroom garden flat with seperate entrance. Just built with soaring ceilings, exposed beams & polished concrete floors . There is a loft space in the bedroom for you to explore. A great spot to read a book or take a nap. There is a separate lounge/ kitchen with glass sliding doors that lead onto a deck with views of the garden. The deck is north facing & sun drenched. You have your own full kitchen and a combined bathroom laundry. For comfort you have ceiling fans & A/c.

Set amongst the gum trees overlooking beautiful Pittwater, our light and airy studio apartment is the perfect place to get away from it all. Cool off in the still water opposite or catch a wave at Mona Vale Beach, a short drive away. You can grab a coffee or a bite to eat at our local cafe or restaurant, just a short 600m stroll along the waterfront. Explore Pittwater on the Scotland Island Ferry or hire a kayak. Buses leave from the bottom of our driveway to connect with city links.
