The old sheepfold has been transformed into a modern guest house for families, located in the scenic landscape of the Gelderse Vallei, at a good distance from the farmhouse. The authentic character has been preserved with wooden beams from 1758 and a partially thatched roof. Overlooking old oaks and a young forest. OLED TV and good WiFi (fiberglass) available as well as a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The sheepfold is insulated, with double glazing and is heated by underfloor heating.

It is a lovely cozy cottage within walking distance of the bustling & picturesque city center of Voorthuizen. Voorthuizen is the perfect gateway to the Veluwe because of its convenient location. A good base for many hiking and biking trails, and there is plenty to do in the area.

The house is spacious and equipped with every comfort. The large garden is beautifully landscaped with hedges, perennials and old fruit trees and is a place to relax and unwind. By entering the luxurious sitting area, sitting on a large leather sofa, you can enjoy the beautiful forest, the different forest colors and a lot of different bird sounds. In the twilight, you regularly spot deer, rabbits and sometimes a fox.

Jan's renovated cowshed has 3 spacious double rooms. All rooms have a beautiful private bathroom with shower and toilet. The rooms are accessible via a hallway to a cozy, shared living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Coffee and tea are available unlimited. At pleasant temperatures, one can make use of a cozily furnished barn, which serves as an extra seating area.
