Our sunny detached chalet is located on a 450 m² plot, in the middle of the forest on a recreational estate in (Gellik) Belgium. Less than nine kilometers from Maastricht, where we, the hosts, live. The domain borders the Hoge Kempen National Park, where nature lovers can enjoy themselves. The activities are countless: from cycling, hiking, horseback riding, etc. Or a city trip to Maastricht. At the chalet, there is a lockable shed where you can put up to 2 bicycles.

B&B "in the Land of Lime". Feel the outdoors

Renovated farmhouse with barn from 1901, formerly known as the "Kleine Pastory". The name of the B&B "in het Land van Kalk" refers to the various lime kilns in the area. An old Kundersteen quarry from bygone times, is 200 meters from our B&B. Voerendaal is the gateway to the Limburg hills. The walks are beautiful. For cyclists, the routes are a Walhalla. The Amstel Gold Race and Limburgs Mooiste are two of the most famous cycling races that pass by our backyard.

Atmospheric home in historic center

In the Jekerkwartier, close to the city center, in one of the oldest parts of the city where the river "Jeker" runs under the state, is our very quiet house. By means of a narrow staircase, you reach the 2nd floor where the kitchen, living room, toilet and the first bedroom with two single beds are located. On the 4th floor, you will find the second bedroom with two single beds, bathroom without toilet but with walk-in shower, two sinks and a washing machine.

The apartment is self-contained, you have your own bathroom and kitchen. The bed is XL sized and all linen and towels are provided, there is also wifi. The appartment is 38m2 and a terrace from 10m2. Close to the city centre 3 km, just 10 min by bike and 30 min walk, and surrounded by a wonderful nature area. Free parking. Cities such as Maastricht, Hasselt, Valkenburg and Aachen are easily accessible by car. But the beautiful hiking and biking routes are also well worthwhile.
