The loft is available on a self-catered basis, which includes firewood, or a fully catered basis, which includes breakfast and dinner on six days out of seven, as well as dedicated service by the villa’s staff. After a day out on the slopes, soothe muscles in the sauna and hot tub, give an impromptu concert on the grand piano, share photos via Wi-Fi or put a few logs in the fireplace and settle in by the television. A stay at the loft feels like peeking into a private home, thanks to the distinctive collections of books and artwork that fill the space. The villa is laid out around a main floor with living and dining areas that feature portable seating and even a table that can be raised or lowered as you wish. Climb the stairs or take the elevator to the mezzanine level to find the fully equipped kitchen and a bar area. Each of the three bedrooms at this luxury property has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. There is one bedroom on the main level, one on the mezzanine and one master suite that takes up the entire top floor of the villa. While no cars are allowed in Zermatt, you’ll hardly need one as the villa is close to ski lifts, shopping and dining. Heinz Julen Loft is only a 2-minute walk from the Omnia Hotel lift and an 8-minute walk from another ski lift.
