Our property provides an authentic farm experience, featuring a variety of animals including dogs, horses, sheep, chickens, and geese. Rose Gum Cottage is a private one-bedroom cottage. It provides peace and relaxation on our property, Turkey's Nest, a registered wildlife refuge, surrounded by pristine rainforest. From the warm handcrafted wood finishes, large attic bedroom, cosy fire and relaxing bath, everything is provided for a romantic escape. We take pride in the homely atmosphere, tasteful decor, attention to detail, and the personal touches of flowers, candles and chocolates. Close to cafes and National Park walks.

Situated on 5 grazing acres in a quiet culdesac nestled at the foot of the nearby D’Aguilar Mountain Range. If you like horses then you will enjoy your stay with us. Our horses are our inspiration and we invite you to come and enjoy watching the herd at rest and at play. Their stage is a rural setting so you may see wildlife visiting us at Brumbies Hollow too.

Wake up in the morning to just the sounds of the birds in your retreat set in 10 acres of rural paradise. From your private terrace, set amidst the beautiful gardens, you can wander freely through the grounds. Our property is home to a great many native species, including wallabies and over 100 species of birds. We have no domestic pets. Head into Samford village for a coffee at one of the many iconic coffee shops, or take a stroll through the nearby rainforests of Mt Glorious and Mt Nebo.

Cosy rural cottage retreat

Take a break from the city grind and unwind in this cosy self-contained cottage. Located on our 5 acre rural property at the foot of Mt. Samson, the cottage suits a single or couples' getaway, providing comfy high back armchairs, queen size bed, private ensuite, and kitchenette. Stay in, relax and catch up on some zzz, or see what's growing in the patch, play fetch with our lovable dog Bennie, or smell the roses. 15 min to Samford or 12 minutes to Dayboro villages. 45 min Brisbane city.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. A true country gem only 30 minutes from the Brisbane CBD and a few minutes from the heart of beautiful Samford village. Wake up to gorgeous views of Mount Glorious surrounded by nature. Ideal for hiking, cycling or just relaxing and enjoying the sounds of the country side. In these cooler nights enjoy sitting round the fire pit, cook up a storm in our beautiful kitchen or take advantage of the many eateries in the village.

The Luxe Escape Cottage is all about comfort and luxury. Enjoy a glass of wine in front of the fire, slip into your private spa, or burrow into your super-comfy king bed and count the stars. Unit is located behind our house. Own entrance, off street parking. A 2 minute walk to a bus stop, which can take you to Chermside or the City. Shops (Coles +), restaurants and hotel. 15 minute drive to major shopping centres and hospitals. 40 minutes to city. 2 hours Gold Coast and 1.5 hours to Sunshine coast. The unit is only suitable for 1 or 2 guests. I am sorry but I cannot accommodate infants/children or pets.
