We discovered our cottage by chance in 2019 & with enthusiasm and a lot of love for detail into a feel-good place in the beautiful Westerwald. (March 2020-August 2021) It is important to us and especially to me (Janine, a trained hotel specialist) to help other people rediscover the small and big things, moments & beauties in life closer again. Through time for yourself alone, with the family or even after work in our cottage and especially in the nature of the Westerwald. Regularly switch off, recharge, appreciate and celebrate life and above all yourself!

Our modern vacation home (85 m²) is located on the outer edge of the idyllic NRW gold village of Benroth, in the middle of the Bergisches Land (about 50 km east of Cologne). Surrounded by forest and meadow, nature lovers, hikers, mountain bikers, mushroom and berry pickers will get their money's worth. An inspirational space for creative people! Here you can stay in a small detached house with 1000 sqm fenced property and distant views over the Ober-Bergisches Land. The cottage is furnished in vintage style and has a fireplace in addition to electric heating. A kitchen newly built in 2022 with fridge, dishwasher, induction, oven, and everything else you might need, outdoor grill, covered terrace. Towels and bowls are available for dogs. Hiking from the house is possible for hours.

Priceless but nevertheless included: fantastic views over a horse paddock and beyond the Rhine. From here you can start wonderful hikes. Historic Skipper House in Old Town

Enjoy a journey back in time! The two medieval skipper's houses are located directly on the old market square and are connected inside. Each room has its own modern bathroom! You can relax under large lime trees after a hike on the Rheinsteig and sample the town's excellent wines. The holiday flat is also very conveniently located for attending a concert on the Loreley open-air stage!
