In the rough Oberwesterwald directly at the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach has dug its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength and inspiration. Fire pit and kettle grill are available. Towels and sheets on request.

Westerwald time out

"Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.

The apartment is stylish, high quality and fully furnished and is wonderful for a short as well as for a longer period. Laundry can be washed, dried and ironed if necessary. Our newly renovated apartment overlooking the Lahn and Oranienstein Castle is located on the sunny slope. On the R7 bike path, you cycle through the beautiful Lahn Valley 3 km to the city center of Diez and 5 km to the city center of Limburg an der Lahn. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. In the middle of the Westerwald, the area offers plenty of variety, whether for hiking, cycling or excursions. The property was redesigned in 2023. It can accommodate two adults or the equivalent.
