The North Sea, the ferry dock to the islands and Halligen, the train for excursions to Sylt or DK, restaurants and shops can be reached by foot in a few minutes.

All North Frisian islands (Sylt, Föhr, Amrum) and Halligen (e.g. Hooge, Gröde, Langeness) as well as the islands of Pellworm and Römö in Denmark are easily accessible by day trip by car, train or boat.

The Nolde Museum is in the immediate vicinity and Denmark is only 3 km away.

Workation asked? Welcome to the open roof floor of our completely renovated country house in a secluded location in the bird sanctuary on the Danish border ... wild geese guaranteed. Up here you will be slowed down. Just come up - with time for yourself or for two. Dogs are also very welcome - space and nature without borders! And the fast fiber optic cable ensures the best internet connection. You don't need to bring much with you. Everything is ready.

As a gateway to the islands and Halligen, as well as just a stone's throw from Denmark, Harksen Hüs offers the perfect base for your vacation in North Frisia. The 55 m² apartment is located on the first floor and is surrounded by an 800 m² garden, which is surrounded by a high hedge and thus offers you privacy and tranquility. Enjoy the sun in the beach chair or relax with an outdoor barbecue – you will find the ideal setting for relaxing hours.

We modernized the approximately 200 m² holiday home "Mein Nordstern" with a lot of love for detail in 2021. We have the house equipped and furnished as we like it best. In addition to design classics, there are high-quality beds and selected kitchen utensils that make the house modern and cozy overall. Our sauna is brand new from autumn 2023 onwards.
