Baking an egg on the Skottelbraai, which you took out of the chicken coop yourself. You can get coffee from the honesty bin for free and make it with your perculator. In the evening a campfire, wine (because that's part of it if you sleep in a wine barrel) and heat the shared hot tub. This is what the doctor prescribes!

The spacious sitting area has a beautiful unobstructed view of the greenery and French doors to the private terrace. The luxurious bathroom has a nice rain shower. You can book a breakfast, but there is also a well-equipped kitchen. Centrally located for visiting Rotterdam, Den Bosch, Utrecht, Amsterdam, Gorinchem, Leerdam and Zaltbommel. Beautiful cycling along the Linge and the Waal.

Standard 10% discount due to the closed dyke section. Very secluded romantic cottage on the dike, you can walk straight into the floodplains. Rest and privacy are paramount. The cottage is now accessible in an alternative way (by car, then 50 metres, behind the main house). It is usually even quieter by the closed road, but the view of the surroundings and landscape are temporarily a bit compromised.
