Welcome to Bosch en Duin in our former garage/barn, which was converted into a very luxurious and stylish home on September 1, 2016. Ideal for 2 people, but also suitable for a family with 2 children or 4 friends. The home is fully insulated and heated by underfloor heating and wood burning stove. Through a window as large as the garage doors and on the other side windows up to the ridge and 3 large skylights, it is a delightful bright space with stunning views of garden and forest totaling 2800m. The Garage consists of one large room with a wooden unit in the middle. On one side of the unit there is a beautiful, complete kitchen with 4 burners/combi oven, dishwasher and fridge-freezer integrated in a hard stone countertop. On the other side is a small but tasteful shower (thermostat tap), toilet and sink with automatic tap and illuminated anti-condensation mirror. The unit offers spacious cupboards and drawers and a staircase upstairs. The unit has a double bed of 1.60 x 2.00 m with a lovely sheep wool duvet of 2.00 x 2.00 m. For lodgers who are afraid of heights, there is a spacious and comfortable sofa in the sitting room that turns into a double bed of 1.40 x 2.00 m in one motion. Next to this spacious corner sofa there is another comfy chair to slide comfortably close to the stove. In the dining area there is a spacious wooden table with 4 chairs. The drawings and ceramics images by our son, outsider artist Hannes, give the space a very personal and cheerful appearance. The home has its own private, private and wonderfully sheltered terrace with comfortable garden chairs with pillows. In the forest there is a bench to enjoy nature in peace or to read a book. Finally, there is a hammock for a delicious afternoon nap. The house has WiFi, with which you can watch the available iPad TV via our Ziggo connection, also radio. So there is no flat screen TV. We have a dog of our own, but we don't want a dog in De Garage. Guests can use the entire house, but also the terrace, the forest and the driveway to park their car. We will be there when guests arrive and depart. We tell the guests about our house, the equipment and the area. The house is non-smoking. We do not provide breakfast or other meals. Combine nature and culture in "De Garage," on the estate Ter Wege in Bosch en Duin, surrounded by the woods of the Utrecht Heuvelrug and a short distance from Utrecht and Amersfoort with their many museums, restaurants and other entertainment options. Guests can use our bicycles. A bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away. Own transportation is of course always easier and faster. Guests can always reach us by phone for questions.

Fantastic detached vacation home in the Veluwe.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. In the middle of the Veluwe, where tranquility and space are the main themes. There is also plenty for children to do, from indoor and outdoor swimming pool, kids club, bowling alley and indoor playground, and also a restaurant/snack bar in the park. The chalet is suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. (5th person can be booked) There is WiFi, Netflix and Viaplay. You can also wash and dry, and the kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, fridge, freezer.

Many birds, also owls, squirrels and you can see regularly deer! Walk/bike (for rent) through the Baarn woods, light a fire at Zwiethouse, to the Soesterduinen, eat pancakes in Lage Vuursche, by bike boat to Spakenburg or shopping in Amsterdam, Amersfoort or Utrecht. Hier vind je rust en privacy; de wind in de bomen en het gezang van vogels. Er staan 2 fietsen klaar. Deze zijn tijdens het verblijf gratis te gebruiken. Ons knusse ‘LOFT’ is een vrijstaand, gezellig en compleet ingericht vakantiehuis van 44m2 op de Veluwe. Door het hoge plafond en de vele ramen is het licht en ruim met uitzicht over de weilanden/akkers. Er is een veranda en een lounge-plek. Deze plek is uitermate geschikt voor rustzoekers en natuurliefhebbers.

Hoeve Nieuw Batelaar has its own private entrance and garden, and guarantees a lot of privacy. The large living room, with an open kitchen has special views over the countryside, and gives guests a sense of calm and space. The spacious bedroom has a luxurious box spring bed for 2 people. The 2nd bedroom has an extendable double bed. The spacious bathroom with a massage shower and infrared sauna, gives access to a wonderfully heated indoor swimming pool.

Located close to the woods, moors and a big lake, this is an ideal spot to discover this lovely part of the Netherlands, for instance by bike or on foot! In the village of Nunspeet you will find all the nice shops, supermarkets and restaurants you need at walking distance from the holiday home.

Wake up among the chirping birds in a Natura 2000 area on the south-Veluwe? Located on a very popular cycling route for recreation, hiking, cycling or mountain biking to stand within a few hundred meters on the Ginkelse heath. Many animals are spotted here in the evening and night: deer, foxes, badgers, squirrels, buzzards, forest owls, woodpeckers and hares. In the wood whale, weasels can even be spotted!

Tiny house (48 m2) centrally located on the Veluwe. Location is at the back of our farmyard with views over the vast meadows. Behind the meadows is the forest area of the Caitwickerzand. From the yard, it is possible to walk directly into the woods. The tiny house has its own private garden with a fire pit and relaxing chairs. A wonderful place where you can completely relax with friends or family.
