Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

Relax in this cozy and peaceful Bed and Breakfast apartment with space for fun both indoors and outdoors. You have entrance from the garden side, private living room with a small French country kitchen, private bathroom and toilet as well as a bedroom with a good 140 cm wide bed. Our cottage is built of wood from our own forest, it contains an entrance, a large bedroom, bathroom and a kitchen living room. In addition, there is a cozy dining area, as well as a covered terrace. The cottage is located on the edge of a slope so the view is amazing. The wildlife in the forest can be followed from every room in the cottage, you can also look down to the large lake in the garden. We have a large trampoline, as well as a football field that you can use freely. We live in the neighboring house, so we are close by if you need anything😊

Here you will find nature, peace and plenty of cosiness in authentic surroundings. The house is the original cottage built around 1930, while we live in a newer house on the property. The house deserves to be lived in and cared for, and you – our guests, contribute to that. We also appreciate offering our guests a different type of holiday and on a budget.
