At the end of the cottage is an outdoor kitchen with cold water, oven and stove. A lovely terrace. A little further away, there is a toilet building with a toilet and sink with cold water. No bath. Bed linen, linens and towels are included in the price. Breakfast can be purchased. Within walking distance is Himmerland Football Golf and open garden by appointment. The home is located in rural surroundings with many opportunities for experiences in nature. Parking right at the door. "Aftægtshuset" is a home of 80 m2, of which 50 m2 is used by AirB&b guests. 2 beds with the possibility of additional bedding. Bathroom and kitchenette with refrigerator. Note that there is no stove. If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

House in the country - The Retro House

Note! Limited bookings spring/summer 2025 due to construction work on the farm! Welcome to Vandbakkegaarden’s Retro House. Here you will find nature, peace and plenty of cosiness in authentic surroundings. The house is the original cottage built around 1930, while we live in a newer house on the property. The house deserves to be lived in and cared for, and you – our guests, contribute to that. We also appreciate offering our guests a different type of holiday and on a budget.

Holiday apartment by the Fjord

Total renovated holiday apartment of 130 m2 located in the village of Kvols, which is located by Hjarbæk Fjord. The apartment is located on the first floor of the old hayloft of a former farmhouse. Everything was replaced and renovated in 2012, only the visible ceiling beams are retained. There are beautiful views from the apartment. Cleaning is the responsibility of the tenant, this can be purchased.

Bright property with room for many.

Really nice holiday home located in a quiet setting. Great for children, as there is a large playroom of 140 m2. The property is away from the road, and there are usually also some animals that would like to be talked to, if interested. In 2007, 240 m2 was renovated, and it is this section that we will let you stay in. The whole place is heated with underfloor heating.
