South African style and updated amenities shine in this fully restored 300-year-old cottage with gorgeous views from every room. Outside, enjoy the Groot Constantia vineyards, a farm, and tennis court with breathtaking mountains as a backdrop. This is the perfect place to relax in the heart of the wine country. You are completely secluded from the hustle and bustle, yet only 25 minutes away from the city centre, 15 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from three championship golf courses. Take long strolls in the vineyards right from your back door, or just enjoy the mountain views from your private garden. The house is spacious (145sqm) and quiet, with views from every window, and is flooded with natural light. Exposed brick walls show the history of the cottage that used to be stables in the 1700’s and formed part of the original Hope Of Constantia farm. The cottage is serviced weekly with a full clean and change of linen. The garden is also serviced weekly, unless otherwise requested. Access all areas in the cottage including kitchen, living room, study, bedrooms, a private garden, as well as full access to the surrounding farm. There is also a secure garage for parking your car and the house is fully-alarmed. This cottage is situated in a gated private lane with four other homes where the other residents value their peace and tranquility. You are welcome to explore the surrounding area but please respect the residents' privacy. The owners of the cottage live just 100m away with their dog Rafiki. Best would be to rent a car as this allows easy access to the more secluded parts of the peninsula. But if you prefer to take a taxi there are private companies that you can use or make use of Uber. We provide coffee and tea for our guests, as well as a simple breakfast for your first morning at the cottage. Groceries can be purchased in advance of your arrival at an additional fee. Stay on a Working Flower Farm in a Modern Home

The farmhouse is set in a secluded area just a short drive away from the quaint town of Stellenbosch, ripe with many fruit orchards and wine vineyards—some date as far back as the 1650s. Foodies would be wise to pit stop at Foliage, an award-winning restaurant listed as one of the “World’s 50 Best” restaurants. Own transport is recommended, but Uber is available if needed, guests use them often successfully. Gay friendly. Perfectly located.

It is a light, modern cabin with a private, wood fired hot tub, access to endless hiking and the finest mountain biking trails in the Western Cape. Although it is styled as a two person cabin, there is an open queen sized pod attached to the living room which can sleep 2 children or an extra guest for an extra fee.
