Jokela School Summer House

Traditional Finnish summer cottage with sauna building, separate sleeping cabin, outdoor toilet and barbecue canopy. The place is located along the Matkusjoki river. Higher up in the courtyard is the old Jokela school (built in 1928), which we are renovating. If you enjoy authentic summer cottaging with minimal additional comforts, then this may be your summer destination. Karpalo mökki

A winter cottage in a beautiful location by the lake. The cottage has a kitchen, a fireplace, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a sauna. Outside, there is a wood-heated barrel sauna and a shed. Linens are not included. Karpalo is a cozy rental log cottage by the lake. The cottage is fully furnished with all modern conveniences. The cottage and its electric sauna is in use from summer through the beautiful Finnish winter. In summer and autumn, there is a separate sauna with a lake side view, a gas grill, a campfire place and a rowboat.

Inside, the cabin's running water, an indoor toilet, and a shower to bring a little luxury to the stay. A lovely 1950s house with a sauna is available for rent, which can accommodate 1-6 people. Two double beds, in addition to which two separate extra beds can be added if necessary. Also an electric sauna and an outdoor sauna are available. Also experience Rautavaara's wonderful nature destinations and events.

Log Cabin Villa Side

Villa Side is a dream cottage in the midst of nature on the shore of Lake Nuasjärvi – with its own cape, lakeside sauna, pier, and silence for a perfect break from everyday life. An atmospheric log cabin, a separate barn, and a sauna by the water provide accommodations for up to seven people. The renter brings their own sheets, towels, and drinking water, and takes care of the final cleaning. The cottage has electricity, the water is taken from the lake. A tidy outdoor shower is in use.

Located near where the owner lives; there are plenty of trees to give you privacy. One 160cm sized mezzanine bed (requires climbing stairs) and a sofa on the floor level for sleeping. Sauna (electric, not wood-heated). Kitchen includes microwave oven, electric oven, coffee machine, electric kettle, refrigerator, tableware etc.
