We rent a beach sauna at an additional cost during the thaw. The maximum number of people is 4 adults + 2 children (under 14 years).

Not a resort, not a hotel. Exactly what Finland actually looks like. A small off-grid cabin on Lake Oulujärvi running on solar power and firewood. No running water or indoor plumbing. You light the sauna, pump water from the lake, and cook on gas or an open fire at the laavu. Note: this stay requires basic outdoor skills. You must be comfortable making fires, bringing your own sheets and drinking water, and doing the final cleaning before checkout.

The cottage is mainly for our own use, but we make the cottage and the beach area available for guests for the duration of their booking.
