Originally built as a sanatorium, it was run as a guesthouse for decades. For almost 100 years people have felt comfortable here, spent their holidays here and recovered. The old dye works, a factory from the 19th century. century, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and a doctor's office, guest rooms were created under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building fabric a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building envelope and reuse renewed components in a different context. New components were used in their natural state.
