The Donathütte at Schluchsee

Relax in this charming rustic mountain hut and enjoy the simple life. You will heat the place with a wood-fired oven (you will need to chop the wood yourself). 500m from the lake at the end of a private road and 1km from the trainstation. Bring everything you need for your stay and leave no traces. Important: Be aware that it is your responsibility to clean the hut before checking out and prepare everything for the next guests. Approx. 85 m² apartment, completely refurnished and renovated in 2020. The second bed is a folding bed that can be placed in the bedroom or living room. Schluchsee, Titisee and Feldberg about 30-40 km away, border crossing to Switzerland about 7 km. Own car required, as there is no shopping facility in the village (about 4 km away).

Due to the complete core renovation in 2022, the approx. 70 sqm apartment in modern splendor. The separate entrance leads to the living area (+ new sofa bed). Next to it is the large bedroom, in which there is a double bed + single bed. The hallway leads to the large kitchen area, the single room, as well as the large modern bathroom. Alte Färberei Entire place

The old dye works, a factory from the 19th century. century, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and a doctor's office, guest rooms were created under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building fabric a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building shell and reuse renewed components in a different context. New components were left natural.
