Our house is a half mile from downtown San Rafael. It is a 1/2 acre with goats, chickens, organic gardens,llamas and pool. It is a farm and resort all in one! We have a bay and city view from almost every room in the house. Wineries 20 miles away. Don't' worry if youre not intereted in the farm, the unit is far enough away that you will not be bothered by it. For those who love a good petting zoo, feel free to visit our friendly animals. This lovely studio is a short drive (or walk) to downtown San Rafael, about 20 minutes from San Francisco, and about 30-40 minutes from Napa and Sonoma. We are located on a hill in a safe and quiet neighborhood with lots of trees and walking trails nearby. Please note: The road to our house from the main street (Lincoln Avenue) is 1/3 of a mile and is narrow and winding. There is also some light freeway noise. There is plenty of street parking (no restrictions) in front of the house.
