  • Amazing Airbnb! Jo went the extra mile, even stayed in to get our food order after our trains were cancelled. The house is incredible and the location is brilliant. Brilliant place to stay!

    Rosa2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice warm house and very well equipped. The rooms are spacious and we were able to evolve to 8 in the house while having all our privacy. It is located near the sea. A very beautiful place in the heart of the village. Jo was very friendly and welcoming.

    Anne Et Jp2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful few days stay at Jo’s place. We arrived on a very wet and windy Saturday but were greeted with the most beautiful big house. Our two children had a fantastic time exploring the whole house and choosing everyones bedrooms. We even had a basket of goodies including fresh bread and wine ready for us which was a great touch!! The weather for our stay wasn’t the best but we had a lovely time chilling out and visiting the local pubs, who were very welcoming. Great place, will definitely recommend you to our friends.

  • A super cosy guest house in a fantastic location! The hosts were amiable and helpful with any questions and requests that we had. They told us about local attraction-breath taking waterfalls. Also, baked us fresh bread and yummy coffee and walnut cake! We felt very welcome. The place is immaculate and tidy. Thank you so much!

  • Fantastic communication from the hosts and they were very understanding when our plans changed last minute. They went above and beyond for us unlike any other hosts I know of; Karen even baked a gluten free cake! Very much looking forward to our next stay. 🙂

  • Philip and Karen have been amazing hosts. They were very welcoming on arrival, telling us about the area and places we could go to, also providing us with maps and explanations on how to get to them. The views of the landscapes are idyllic. Also they have bikes in case you want to go for a ride. But the best thing is the lemon drizzle and granary bread they made for us, we will never forget the breakfasts we had on our stay. The house is lovely and with all the appliances to ensure a good stay. We are very grateful for the experience.

    Mario2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay! The place was so comfy and had absolutely everything you could want, with some really thoughtful touches. The cake, bread and the butter were so good and Philip and June were so welcoming and helpful. The location is great for getting to hiking spots and the waterfalls. We are already trying to plan when we can go again, highly recommend!

  • Breathtaking location, super clean and generally lovely. Phil and Karen were fantastic hosts, the extra little touches like milk, cake and the fresh baked bread were homey. They respected our privacy but we’re about if we needed them. Would definitely come back and would recommend to others for a nice scenic getaway.

  • Everything was fab, the location, views, host& the accommodation. Beds were nice & comfy. Everywhere was lovely & clean. Kitchen very well equipped. The hand wash & cream in the bathrooms were lovely! We didn’t use the garden & hot tub, the fact this is shared with the owners would put me off visiting in the summer a little. The Golden Mile pub was a lovely 1 mile walk away & the food was lovely in there & the locals in there were nice & friendly. Taking the public footpath route we saw Ewenny Priory which is worth a visit. The history of it was fascinating.

  • We were attending a wedding in Coychurch so the location was fantastic, with great views. The house is wonderfully spacious and clean, and we loved the underfloor heating downstairs! Lucy was incredibly accommodating and always quick to respond. We were just gutted we’d left our swimming gear at home so we didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub. Would absolutely stay again!

  • Came for the weekend for Hen Party, and we all had an amazing time. Tracey was brilliant with communicating with the Hen Party organisers, and was really accommodating. She was able to sort out catering for us, which was lovely, this was a fairly last minute arrangement and Tracey did it even with having sustained an injury. I would recommend this property for groups, especially Hen Parties, and if you don’t mind a 45 minute journey into Cardiff, it’s perfect! Lovely indoor area and a great outdoor area too, it was a shame we couldn’t use it as much as we wanted to be as of the weather. Thank you, Tracey.

  • Very good place for large groups to stay 👍🏻

    Jon2019-06-23T00:00:00Z

    Callum2019-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect location for my sisters hen party. Would defnetly recommend to anyone wanting a fab place to stay with a group of friends and family. The hosts go above and beyond to make your stay extra special and think of everything required.

    Emily2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely space. Tracey supplied a docking station for us to play music, let us come early to decorate and even offered us late checkout as they had no one else booked in! The surrounding gardens are beautiful for walks and exploration and the bunkhouse itself was perfect for our needs. We took up the offer of hiring a hot tub, and it was a great idea as the weather was perfect! Thanks!

    Rosie2019-05-12T00:00:00Z

Drws Nesaf is a tiny, one up, one down stone-built cottage, traditionally furnished and dating from the mid 19th century, originally built to house farm servants. It is perfectly located for easy access to the Brecon Beacons and Gower coast.
Drws Nesaf (meaning next door) is a whitewashed, stone built, one up one down cottage. It was built in the mid 19th century to accommodate farm servants, the larger farm house being adjacent. The interior is traditionally furnished with antique furniture and rugs and is heated by a wood-burning stove. All linen is provided; bed linen, bath and hand towels, kitchen towel and tea-towel. There is also shower gel, soap, washing-up liquid, dishcloths and kitchen roll. An initial basket of wood will be provided on arrival, additional logs and kindling can be purchased at the local garage and hardware store.

  • A lovely cottage. Jennet is an excellent host and provided us with a wealth of information on places to go and things to see. Great location for the Brecons and further afield trips (it's well connected road wise) - obviously a car is recommended. We loved the wood burning stove and can definitely recommend buying extra logs from the farm Jennet suggests. As others have mentioned, the place is cold in winter but once you get a fire going its exceptionally cosy. We'll definitely be back again!

    Tim2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely host, treated amazingly, house was spotless and cosy. Would happily stay here again even if it was just for the cakes

    Charlie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Couldn't recommend this place higher. Jennet's welsh cakes are outstanding and who doesn't want to spend a stormy weekend next to a fire? Lovely place.

    Jamie2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time, the cottage was divine and we didn’t want to come home x

    Lois2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • lovely little cottage, a perfect base camp for trips to the brecons

    Kito2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is very comfortable and, once the wood burner is going, warm and welcoming. The Welsh cakes were a nice touch and they are even nicer when warmed in the stove above wood burner. It's a traditional cottage, mainly heated by the burner and we stayed in December - we were fine with some warm socks and jumpers. It's a good spot for exploring the Beacons, nice local walks and waterfalls and the coast too. We wished we'd been able to stay longer.

    Phil2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • A delightful little cottage in a very pleasant setting, with a lovely enclosed garden which is safe for dogs. The main heating for the cottage is a large and effective wood burning stove, which is supplemented by a couple of electric heaters, which are OK but not very powerful. Make sure you have warm clothes. Instant heating is provided for sinks and shower, which us very efficient and hot.

    Heather2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is perfectly situated for the waterfall walks so that’s great! It’s a beautiful little cottage, with a lovely wood burner, cute little kitchen and nice outside garden (although we didn’t use it as we went at the end of November). It’s perfect if you’re after a weekend in a traditional little cottage. Jennet was incredibly helpful when we got lost 5mins before we got to the cottage and accepted us arriving late at night. She gave us a great recommendation for a local pub and left some delicious Welsh cakes for us.

    Huw2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Jonathan's place is highly recommended especially if you love animals. I had a fantastic time with his dogs and cats. We also enjoyed feeding his geese and ducks. Lexi, the dog, is the sweetest and my most favorite. The dogs are house-trained and very friendly. The property is situated next to the stream and the countryside scenery is splendid. So this place is perfect if you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Jonathan, the host, is very hospitable. Sue, the caretaker, is lovely and accommodating. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

    Ivy2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely room, no problems at all more than happy to recommend to anyone.

    Jeffrey2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Jonathan‘s house for four nights and used it as a starting point for discovering South Wales. You can easily reach Cardiff, Swansea and the Brecon Beacons National Park. The house is full of lovely details and there was always a fully prepared breakfast which we really enjoyed! Jonathan was always supportive and recommended lovely places to visit. Thank you again so much for the warm hospitality of making our stay so wonderful! We would love to come back soon!

There are lovely walks from the house and also many other areas of great beauty and interest locally. It was a most relaxing and enjoyable stay.

  • Helen has a very nice house, it's warm and cosy. The room was tidy, clean and bed is very comfortable. She also has a very loving dog and a very cute and playful cat. I really enjoyed my stay.

    Stefano2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Although as we know perfection does not exist. My stay in Helen's home was as close to perfect as I have ever felt. I have been on a Royal Caribbean Cruise and the experience pails in comparison to one night in Helen's spare room. I felt so energised and rested when I woke up that I was a little confused. That was until I looked up the healing properties of wood, then it made sense. As I looked around I saw not just the wood but the love Helen had worked into the wooden art she has created. If you are lucky enough to be granted permission to stay at Helen's do not hesitate. Her Dog Sasha and Kitten Loki are a direct reflection of the love Helen has bestowed on them and are wonderful mischievous company. I dare anyone to find a fault with their stay at Helen's. I could say more but then you would not discover the magical experience for yourself.

    Matthew2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Helen was a wonderful host, very helpful and welcoming. We booked one nights stay, last minute and Helen very kindly waited in to check us in, before she went out. Her house is beautiful and we were able to cook dinner in the kitchen. The bed is comfy and we had a great nights sleep. Helen’s pets provided much amusement- they were very sweet and well behaved, we had a great time playing with them. Would definitely come back again.

    Laura2020-01-19T00:00:00Z

Fully modernised 2 bedroom cottage on the edge of the lovely village of Resolven, with parking for 2 cars and great hillside views. It is ideally placed for local amenities for those usual necessities such as corner shops and takeaways, but still close to the busy centres of Neath and Swansea and also activity opportunities such as the many hiking trails in Brecon, expanses of glorious beaches and gorge walks to admire the spectacular waterfalls.
The cottage is fully self-contained with all necessary facilities including essential kitchen accessories. Please note that the price is per person per night, but is a flat rate throughout the year.
Resolven is in the heart of waterfall country and our cottage is a short walk from Melincourt waterfall along a picturesque riverside gorge.. Resolven has all the essentials:- a post office, 2 corner shops, Chinese and Indian take-aways, an excellent ‘chippy’ and a vibrant Baptist church. All are within a 10 minute walk of our cottage. Our nearest beach is Aberavon, a 20 min drive, where you can enjoy a coffee or snack and enjoy the sandy beach. Neath is a 10 min drive away, boasting supermarkets, fuel, an indoor market and a shopping centre. Swansea, 20 mins away offers theatre, cinema, various shopping centres, restaurants and of course the Mumbles, Three Cliffs Bay is a beautiful place for walking as well as the Gower, designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Brecon, Monmouth and Caerphilly as well as many other places can be visited within a short drive. It is a great place to explore and take part in different activities.

This is a fairly new 4 bedroom house located just on the outskirts of Neath. Neath is surrounded by beautiful Welsh countryside (parks, hills, walks and mountain bike tracks). Neath is only 10 minutes away from Swansea and the famous 'Mumbles'. Of interest to those in the medical profession we are very close (3 miles) to the Neath, Port Talbot general hospital.
A modern 4 bedroom detached house with parking space for 3 cars. You will have your own room and private bathroom. Breakfast is available on a self help basis and is included in the price.
This is a very quiet and peaceful location with very friendly neighbours.

Designed for the perfect getaway, tucked away in a private corner of our garden, where nature is truly at its best. Enjoy a soak in your own private hot tub, chill out on the decking area with marshmallows on the fire, overlooking beautiful views of the Garw Valley or head indoors and cosy up next to the fire with a warm cup of hot chocolate or a glass of bubbly. This beautifully finished Nest in the woods is ideal if you fancy getting away from busy lives to do as little as you like.
Our Shepherds Hut is situated in a private corner at the back of our garden between a little forrest of trees, mountainous views and your own spacious decking area. We have tried to create a rustic yet warm and cosy area where you can feel at ease from the moment you arrive. Whether you visit to relax and soak in the hot tub or fancy long walks and admiring nature, we have it all. The space- our Shepard hut is beautifully designed to ensure it is easy and relaxing to settle into as soon as you arrive. Once inside, you will find a fully fitted kitchen with a butlers sink, small oven and two hobs, a kettle, toaster, fridge and all essential utensils, with complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate and fresh milk. Once you have cooked up a storm in the kitchen, we have created the cutest dining area that you slide out when you want to use it or push back in to get access to the bedroom area or to simply have a little more space inside the hut. The beautifully finished bathroom includes a shower and complimentary toiletries. The log burner is perfect for those cold winter nights and keeps the whole hut cosy and warm and creates the perfect glow of light inside when the sun goes down. When it's time for a little shut eye, you can climb into the snug bed and be sure to switch off for a quality nights sleep. Inside the sleeping area is also a tv with Netflix. Outside space- as soon as you walk up your private walkway into Nyth Coetir, all outdoor space is yours to enjoy. Step up on to the decking area and keep warm in front of the fire pit or create a BBQ for breakfast or evening meal or melt marshmallows for a little tasty fun! Alternatively you could sit down and relax, enjoy the views or watch the birds in trees the choice is yours. Finally why not jump in the hot tub, connect to the Bluetooth speakers and relax for hours whilst admiring the views. Neighbourhood- Summer or winter, there is plenty to do in the area. At the bottom of our lane is a walking path that takes you further into the valley or you could follow the river and head towards Bryn Garw Nature park with lots to see and a cute little tea room when you get there. The area also has some great cycling trails if you fancy taking our bikes out and heading out for the day. Getting around- We are just 10 minutes from the M4 motorway, shops and restaurants, only 10 minutes to the nearest train station (where parking is free) and head to Cardiff, Swansea or further afield. We have a local bus service in the village or we are happy to offer a taxi service if you let us know in advance. Other things to note- we ask that you read our Guest Manual for top tips on the area and the how to guides on our appliances and hot tub if we are unable to greet you on the day you arrive. We are also happy to help if you need us during your stay so do not hesitate to get in touch.
  • A perfect romantic little getaway. The hut is so lovely we just stayed in almost the whole trip! Hot tub spot on too even in the rain. Ayse was a wonderful host and greeted us on arrival, gave us a tour and showed us how to use everything. It was spotless, we had a lovely little welcome hamper and a card, and there was a fire burning when we arrived so nice and cosy too. Great communication all round, with written directions and a sweet little map drawn by their daughter. We will definitely return :)

  • We wanted a quick weekend break to relax and enjoy some peace and got exactly that. It was easy to find and only 10 minutes from the M4. We were met by Leon when we arrived who was very friendly and told us all we need to know about the place and how to work the hot tub and we were left some really nice welcoming touches to celebrate valentines day. The hut very pretty, clean, warm, cosy and comfortable even with storm Dennis in full force outside. We really enjoyed our stay.

  • We loved our stay at Nyth Coetir. Amazing hosting skills as we received a great welcome package - including something for our little doggie too. Were always kept up to date on everything & had plenty of great suggestions for local things to do. We had a day trip to the Brecon Beacons also so if you wanted to take a visit there it is not too far via car - great location. Will definitely be returning as soon as we can! Best air bnb we have stayed in!!

Double bedroom within a clean and modern apartment. The room offers drawers and hanging space for clothes as well as a TV with DVD/freeview. The property also offers superfast broadband.
Modern, comfortable and clean home. The property has two bathrooms and as I live alone, this allows guests sole use of one. TV with built in DVD and free view situated within bedroom. Kitchen facilities are available for microwave use/small meal prep, as well as for making complimentary tea & coffee. All I ask is consideration is given to fridge space and clearing up. The bedroom is a comfortable size for 1 or 2 people but may not be suitable for 2 people sharing for longer stays. I'm open to answering any questions prior to booking.
Relatively new build estate which is quiet and in an ideal location. My apartment is in close proximity to a train line, so please bare this in mind if you are a light sleeper/need the window open throughout the night.
  • Perfect for what I needed. Jamie was very responsive, welcoming and friendly. The flat was very clean, and the room and bedroom were very comfortable. An allocated parking space was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend Jamie’s place if you’re working in or visiting the area.

The street is very peaceful and has some residential only and some free parking... I parked right at the front of the house. I will say it’s definitely great value for money and I will stay here again. Oh I also discovered that Sofia works where I did my placement few years back.

Cycling Maesteg is ideally loacted for wider exploration of the Valleys of South Wales. • Our second stay at the house. It's a perfect house for our family (2 adults, 2 small kids). Good location for Maesteg. Tidy and well equipped for a comfortable stay. Would definitely stay again.

  • Jeremy is a very attentive host and the house is great - lovely and warm, bedding & towels provided, adequate kitchen & social areas and very quiet. We found that the cleanliness in the bathroom could have been a bit better but I'm sure this was just an oversight in an otherwise spotless house. Thank you - we would certainly stay here again if ever in the area.

    Sam2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great house, very clean I recommend to stay with your family.

    Rohan2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Jeremy was a good host. The rooms were clean. The kitchen was well equipped. We’ll stay there if we visit the area again.

    Beulah2019-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • The decor may be a little dated, but don't let this put you off - the house is spacious, very homely, immaculately clean and well equipped. Perfect for a family. Jeremy's communication is excellent, making for an easy, pleasant stay. Would definitely stay again.

    Sian2019-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Jeremy was an excellent host, communicating well and replying very promptly to messages. The self check-in and check-out made it easy and convenient to arrive and depart at times that suited us. The house is conveniently located between Cardiff and Swansea, bringing most of South Wales into easy reach. It's on a main road with two supermarkets (Tesco and Asda) within easy walking distance. The downside to this was that parking could be a bit tricky at times. The house itself was clean, spacious, and well stocked with everything we needed. The décor is rather outdated but that didn't bother us. Upstairs, the bedrooms provided plenty of sleeping space for our family of five. It did get quite stuffy upstairs, but then the weather was particularly hot during our stay. The value for money couldn't be faulted, especially during the school summer holidays. Overall we enjoyed our visit and would happily stay there again.

    Naomi2018-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Jeremy’s BnB at Maesteg is an awesome place. It is a very neat and big place where 8 of us (including 2 children) could comfortably spend our Easter weekend. It had all the amenities needed to have a peaceful time. It is in the middle of a beautiful valley. Brecon Beacons in the north and Swansea beaches in the south are just less than an hour away. We were totally thrilled that we could go on an amazing trek, just behind the place and enjoyed a beautiful panaromic view from up the hill. Jeremy is a very kind host. We were a family of 7 and he kindly accommodated when a friend joined at the last minute. Thank you Jeremy. We had a wonderful time and your place felt like home away from home. I am going to recommend your place to my friends.

  • As a family of five, we were a little uncertain about booking a couple of rooms in a house as opposed to the whole place, but it really couldn’t have been better. The space was clean and had everything we needed. Allison and Richard were friendly, accommodating and helpful.
