This sweet little cottage is furnished with love and equipped. If you like to cook, there is a great stove, and the kitchen is very complete. Helle makes you feel that you are welcome, flowers, some fruit, a chocolate and a cold beer in the fridge. What does a man want more. Can highly recommend staying here as a base for Rotterdam.

What a super reception, tulips, biscuits, chocolate, fruit etc and even a bottle of wine! After a journey of 1,300 kilometers from France, this was great.

The apartment was very nice and cosy, well-equiped, there was literally everything we needed. Helle kept the whole place super clean, changed our sheets, towels, making beds, etc. Eventhough, we mostly just slept there, the neighborhood was quiet and friendly, the bed was amazing (woke up to great feeling everyday), supermarket close, train station even closer, few minutes to Rotterdam. We haven't seen each other a lot, but Helle was a really nice host and next time we go to NL, this place will be one of our options.

I had a nice time at Helle's house. The appartment has everything you need for a longer stay, even a coffee maker. Helle is very kind. Barendrecht train station is close so you can use Sprinter trains to get everywhere you need. Definitely recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at Helle's apartment. My husband and I were in the Rotterdam area for business and this suited us so well. The apartment was a home away from home feel. Everything was so convenient for us. Super quick to get on the free way, super market in walking distance and parking for our hired car. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Helle is a great person, when we asked questions about the area she was more than happy to help. My husband loved that fact that there was a coffee machine for proper coffee. The kitchen is also fully equipped, we made dinner every night instead of eating out... which was perfect for us. I would highly recommend to stay at Helle's. We will see you again soon. We were a little early but this was not a problem for Willem - he was there to greet and welcome us. He was most helpful providing information to help us with our house search when relocating to Rotterdam. He left us a basket of wonderful fresh breads and a plate of cheese and cold meats when we returned back from a tiring house search. We were invited to have a glass of wine with him on our final evening where we gained a further insight into life in and around Rotterdam. The cottage is new and comfortable in a pretty rural setting, yet close enough to Rotterdam and charming Dordrecht.

The house and the garden was fantastic. Everything was clean, beautiful and very well organised just like the whole area. Barendrecht is a great place to walk, bike, and relax. Doordrecht and Rotterdam are close, easy to visit. The warm hospitality of Willem gave an extra to our holiday. He was always there to help in anything.

A lovely house on it and with everything. Uninterrupted views and a lovely garden with veranda. The dog can roam free here within walking distance in several areas. Tip the newly created polder dike with tea garden left and first right, then you see it on your left. Willem exceptional hospitality and relaxed communication. If you want to sit near the city of Rotterdam and Dordrecht and want to have your own place in an idyllic location in the Netherlands, Willem I would absolutely recommend his house.

B&B Fortuna was a wonderful place, and Annemiek was a delightful host! The efficiency apartment is perfect for travelers who want privacy and the freedom to do their own meal prep. Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple, with a very comfortable bed that elevates for watching TV, or reading. If you have a vehicle there is free and convenient parking right at the door. The grocery store is one block away, and plenty of good local restaurants are with a few minutes by bicycle and car. Annemiek and her husband are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They go out of their way to be helpful, but are never in your way. I give this place my highest rating, so I encourage you to stay there if it fits your plans.

If you are looking for a very quiet place, cheap, not too far away from Rotterdam city center, you should not search further and stay at Annemiek’s B&B. It’s clean, nicely furnished, with independent entrance, in a residential area just 8 minutes by walk from the closest NS train station. I enjoyed living there and I would have stayed longer but I just needed a temporary accommodation before I could find an apartment closer to where I work. Annemiek is a very nice person, she is always available and you won’t find difficult to communicate with her. In my particular case we had not much interaction because I was always late after work. I recommend this place especially for one person because it’s just one room apartment and the space might be limited for two on the long term. Have a good time at Annemiek’s. Thank you!

The studio is small but nice and confy. Everything is new and very clean, especially the bathroom which is great. that's an ideal place to stay if you're alone or in couple and you are looking for calm and silence. the location is great, in a quiet street with a dedicated parking for your car. the supermarket is only 3min walk, it's very convenient. And to go to rotterdam the train station is only at 800m, and you are in rotterdam Center in 15min max. Annemiek is friendly and very helpful to explain you everything you need to know.

I was given a route description by e-mail and was picked up by Anita's husband at the bus stop. This made me feel very welcome and is a great extra service. I was shown around the room , had my own bathroom and could use the desk and computer if needed. All the spaces are very clean. The breakfast was very good and I had a nice conversation with Anita. All and all great value for money. Highly recommended.

Top stay. The book went super fast, the agreements on arrival were very flexible and very cordial reception. I had two punctures when I got out of the car and my bike Anita has done its utmost to see if this dissolution was with the help of others. The room, bathroom and office on the 1st floor and is only for the guest, so privacy is top notch. I slept and as nice ending got a very luxurious breakfast Anita. So highly recommended!

Margriet and Hans are such welcoming hosts and made our brief stay relaxing in their lovely home. Hans very kindly lent us bicycles and ensured we didn't get lost when finding the tram stop. Breakfast was plentiful and divine with fresh rolls, home made jam, fresh squeezed juice, cold meats/cheese and eggs. We would happily stay again and recommend. Thank you both :)

In the afternoon, after we first had a wonderful walk in Tiengemeten made, we arrived at Hans. We got coffee, info, maps etc. of the area. The next morning there was a breakfast to tell you. It was bliss! They were fun days in Barendrecht.

We were welcomed with a nice cup of tea. After a brief tour. We went to a concert in Ahoy and Hans offered to take us and pick. This was super natural. The next morning there was a fine, rich breakfast. All in all very hospitable people. Had a good stay!

Margriet and Hans saved our visit to Rotterdam after a bad experience the night before in Den Haag. We came in early and during breakfast they gave us a perfect itinerary to make Rotterdam with all useful tips in a day. When we came back in the evening there was a Margriet-homemade-soup waiting for us! The long and delicious breakfast day efter we had with them together was a real highlight for our stay. Wow! What an amazing experience! Collected from the train station by car, even though our train was late and they had to go home and come back again without any phone contact (very sorry), provided with cool drinks and a chat on arrival with explanation of how to get to Kinderdijk windmills, asked our preferred breakfast time, free bike hire! Cheap Mini bar with €1 water, privacy of own space, just had one other emergency guest across the way (working midwife) but we didn't even see her, breakfast was a lavish spread of bread, cheese, ham, boiled egg, coffee, fresh juice, fruit & yoghurt (thank you so very much!), drinks and another friendly chat when we came back from a biiiiig day and another lift back to station. Unbelievable hospitality. This is how it's done!

Airbnb perfect experience! I felt welcome in the beautiful waterfront cottage behind in Gudi's garden. The cottage feels very private and has a fantastic view, very soothing. I stayed there a few days to come and also had plenty of space for it to rest. Gudi made sure I had everything I needed and it was very nice to get to know her better with a cup of coffee. Highly recommended!

Rietje was nice, flexible and at my disposal. I had a nice time in a lovely place. Rietje's chalet is well equiped, quiet and have a XXL terasse with a nice view. Chalet is now equiped with wifi witch is a real asset.

We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts. We were given a tour of the property and given a demonstration of how everything worked. The house was for our exclusive use, the hosts lived nearby but left us to get on and enjoy our stay. Eliana called by to check all was well and to drop off a football for our grandson to play with which was kind of her. The house is in a quiet residential area,and has a few local shops that provided everything we needed.

Mel has a lowely house in a nice surrounding. Just a ich few minutes away there is a small mall where you can buy everything you want. Very comfortable accommodation, very modern and the tram is not far away and opportunity to go shopping on foot. Only small bay-mol no coffee machine and it takes about 35min to reach the center of Rotterdam ... because the public transport prices vary per kilometer, it is not negligible.

Charlotte (fab host) did everything possible to make us feel welcome, a lovely place, comfy beds, powerful shower and gorgeous garden - and when the children found netflix no one wanted to leave!

Apartment in very convenient locations, easily accessible by car. I stayed here with my family, 4 people in total, and I must say it was a good choice: everything spotless and perfect in every detail. Charlotte is a great host who has been able to welcome us in an optimal way: not too invasive but super helpful when needed. I'm only sorry to have had little time to visit the city and the neighborhood, which still seems rather quiet, perhaps not stocked service in the evening. But as I said we have not had much time to inspect the area. The inner courtyard is a small corner of tranquility and greenery returing to appreciate the sauna and the jacuzzi!

We had a great stay with Charlotte. The private apartment is spacious, comfortable for even 4 people . She and others there are helpful, telling us various places to visit etc. Chickens, private garden area, sauna, barbecue, off road parking, all helped to make it a great and unforgettable experience.

Jean is a very nice host and did a great job explaining how everything worked, including the washer (no dryer, but things dry in 24 or so hours on a rack), and the garbage system. It took some coordinating to get the keys but that is a common occurrence with Airbnb I have noticed. There is a great supermarket (Dirk) nearby. You do need a car to get around easily. Use (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps to navigate the dense Dutch highway system and avoid traffic jams. Dordrecht is a cute old town you should not miss. There is a fun short boat ride (Water Taxi) from Zwijndrecht right to downtown Dordrecht...

It's a warm and nice house which is near Zwijndrecht station. The room is clean and spacious with a very nice view in the morning. I can see a lot of birds on trees from the window. The owner, he is also nice and we had a great talk with many interesting things, especially about nature and traveling. He's flexible and respond my questions very quickly that made my travel more easier. I like his garden with many kinds of birds and how he keeps it always friendly for nature lives. Here, it's very impressive for me.

Very hospitable and you are welcome throughout the apartment. Public transportation is 2 minutes walk (train / tram) and 10 minutes you are in the city. Free street parking is a big plus. A must if you are visiting Rotterdam!

The room is very small and you sleep on stretcherbeds. There is a big wardrobe in the room, but there is stuff belonging to the hosts in it, which suggests that you're not meant to use it, even if you are renting the room. There is very little other space to unpack or leave your things in the room. I missed hooks or something to hang up your clothes or coat. We got no key to the apartment, but had to ring the bell everytime we got to the apartment. On a different note: our host Danny was home on our first night and was very nice and hospitable. Always asking wether we needed anything. If you are looking for a two day sleep it's a perfect room!

One month may stay in their shed. The garden house has all major facilities to spend a longer period. If there was anything extra care Johan and Trees sure it is regulated. A must for anyone who enjoys a cozy and friendly atmosphere.

Trees & Johan are gracious and welcoming hosts who will do everything to make your stay enjoyable. The '' cottage '' is a friendly and comfortable little cocoon, at a dead end in a quiet and tranquil place. For the comfort of its visitors, Trees has brought a lot of attention to detail (fridge, stove, coffee maker, etc.). We loved this very convenient location for visiting the region. Many interesting sites are just minutes away by car, and no car needed to reach Dordrecht and Rotterdam, which can be reached in '' water bus ''. The region is of course also conducive to bike rides. Trees was warm and welcoming on our arrival and made us feel at home immediately. Johan and Trees were on hand to give us tips throughout our stay. Johan and Trees 's cottage is romantic and cute. It's not difficult to arrive. The area is quite and lovely. They receive us with beers, coke and chocolate in the fridge! And when we leaved they offered us some nice "croissants" and a coffee! In the cottage is lovely and you have everything you need to enjoy your holydays there. There are transports at about 10 minuts walking from the cottage to go to Rotterdam (bus boat or bus and train). It's a very nice place for your trip over there!

Near Rotterdam, in a house where I could easily lose my car, I slept in a good bed. Agreement about what time I could come was easy to arrange. Lovely shower, really super value for money. For me a great base to be able to do a lengthy sick in hospital.
