Mit dem Auto ist man in einer guten halben Stunde am Nürburgring, an der Ahr, am Ruhrsee oder im Phantasialand Brühl. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 10 km Entfernung. Hunde nach Absprache willkommen.

Es gibt keinen direkten Seeblick (Bäume davor), doch der wundervolle Viewpoint 'Zur Schönen Aussicht' ist in zwei Minuten erreichbar (100m), wo man nachts die Sterne ungestört beobachten kann.

Wandern auf dem Eifelsteig oder am Rursee, Vogelsang, Rurseeschifffahrt, E-Bike ausleihen, Museen und historische Städte wie Monschau besichtigen. Nach einem kurzen Spaziergang um ein paar Brötchen beim Kiosk am See zu holen, folgt für uns immer bei einem frischen Kaffee die Überlegungen zur nächsten Tour. Abends bieten gute Restaurants in Spaziernähe einen tollen Abschluss.
