The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. The Cabin

Charming log cabin in great Floyd County location for 2 guests only. Large family room with gas fireplace. Separate bedroom with queen bed, well appointed kitchen, & single bath with stall shower. Located ~22 minutes from I-81, 35 minutes from Virginia Tech, 22 minutes from Floyd Country Store, & ~ 40 minutes to Roanoke. No smoking/vaping on property. Our home is beside/visible from the cabin. We are available if you need anything, but we respect your time and will give you your privacy.

Y’all come stay a while… Fred and Fanny’s belonged my sweet grandparents who nary met a stranger. Their 2 bedroom 1 Bath home is located right in the Town of New Castle, where my granny was the Treasurer for many years. It’s fully furnished and features eat in kitchen, washer and dryer, and fenced in yard. Walking distance to town… and It’s not real far from Roanoke or Blacksburg. Close to Wilderness Adventure, and it’s less than 27 mins to the Furthest Trailhead in Va’s Triple crown!

Unwind in a spacious tiny home on a working farm with vegetables, herbs, fruits, dairy goats, sheep, and chickens. Otterview has one of the most incredible views in the state, huge deck, and pond. The house is open format with 3 bedrooms, a top of the line kitchen, cozy living room, and extraordinary great room. Look out at the Peaks of Otter, enjoy incredible sunrises and sunsets. You are welcome to grill out on the Blackstone, enjoy the firepit, and relax on the dock. There is two miles of trails on the 37 acre property with their own trail signs and map.
