The property is located at the town exit, directly on the Nibelungensteig. Lindenfels is a small, idyllic town where you can walk to everything. There is a supermarket, a bakery, a local history and kite museum, many beautiful hiking and biking trails, as well as our unique castle ruins with various events. You will find German, Indian and Italian cuisine. All offer pick-up service Popular excursion destinations are Erbach, Michelstadt and Heidelberg, as well as the Geo National Park.

The lovingly furnished cottage Charming Cottage 17 with 3 separate floors is located on the edge of the forest and is only a few steps away from a horse farm. The location in the middle of the nature reserve & not far from the famous rocky sea in Lautertal welcomes hikers,connoisseurs,peace seekers and nature lovers. The fully equipped, modern apartment (95 m²) with separate entrance can accommodate up to 4 people. In the spacious and bright apartment, there are 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed. The quiet location invites you to take walks and excursions to the nearby vineyards and the surrounding area. The center of Groß-Umstadt with its historic market square is 4 km away, Darmstadt 24 km and Aschaffenburg 26 km. The train station (700 m) offers connection to the public transport network.

Living in a farmhouse

You will stay on the first floor of the newly converted farm building of an old farm. Large garden with paddock and 3 horses on a small stream. Don't be afraid of free-range chickens and our herding dog Jule. There is a bookable sauna and a small swimming pool. Seating area with fireplace in the garden free of charge. Cost for sauna is an additional €15 per sauna session for 2 people only by arrangement on site. Walking with the horses can also be booked.

Living at the Knight's Castle Conquer Schloss Auerbach and enjoy your stay in the apartment with the fantastic view of the Rhine plain. 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living room and bathroom accommodate up to 8 people. As a special highlight, there is a 2.20 m x 2.30 m hot tub (up to 5 people) on the covered terrace for exclusive and private use. It is available day and night at no extra cost, even in the winter months.

Waldheim Lindenfels

The Waldheim is an Art Nouveau villa in the climatic health resort of Lindenfels overlooking the castle and the Weschnitztal and has a separate apartment for up to 6 people. The Waldheim is located directly on the Nibelungensteig hiking trail at the edge of the Schenkenberg forest. Highlights include the panoramic view, the sauna and the communal garden.
