The historic center of Venice is easily reached by public transport in 20 minutes. Bus and train stops are 1-7 minutes walk from the apartment. Venice airport can be reached in 40 minutes by bus or in 13 minutes by car . The central station of Mestre can be reached in 9 minutes by car and in 16 minutes by bus. The motorway network can be reached in 5 minutes. The apartment is an excellent base for visiting all the places of historical and landscape interest of the Veneto Region. The centers of Treviso, Padua, Vicenza, Verona, are easily reachable by train. Cortina D'Ampezzo can be reached by car in about 2 hours. The Riviera del Brenta can be reached by car in 30 minutes. The city center of Mestre can also be reached on foot in 20 minutes; about 7 minutes walk you will find shops, restaurants and all the services you may need. You must also pay in cash the amount provided for the tourist tax imposed by law by the Municipality of Venice; the host will be responsible for paying it to the treasury. Any access during the stay by the employees to the technical rooms inside the apartment will be notified in advance. At the time of reception, the staff will present the apartment to the guests and check with them the integrity of the equipment provided. Overnight stay entails the payment of the tourist tax due to the Municipality of Venice, which is not included in the price of the accommodation. The 2019 rate from the first of February amounts to € 4.00 per person/day for the first 5 days - from 10 to 16 years of age the amount is € 2.00 - from 0 to 10 years of age the tourist tax is not due - as established by the Tax Office of the Municipality of Venice -. Tourist tax must be paid at check-in. The accommodation must be left free at the time to be agreed and in any case by 10.00 am on the day of departure.
