Waterfront Guesthouse II on the Rappahannock

The “Beach House” is a guest cottage at Snug Harbor, a 2 acre private property overlooking the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. Perfect for a couple’s getaway, this well-appointed cottage has beautiful water views and includes access to our private beach & dock (with guest slip) with use of our paddle boards and kayaks. The cottage’s 1st floor features an open liv/din/kit area, full bath with large shower and a covered patio. The 2nd floor features a large loft bedroom with a queen bed.

Little Cove Cottage: a charming studio in Mathews County with private entrance. Mathews is a rural town with several beautiful beaches close by and many areas to access the water. This apartment offers a small water view of the North River, with a pier and boat ramp just 400 yards away. Bring your Kayaks or use ours. . We are just minutes away from the Mobjack and Chesapeake Bays. Mathews is home to great restaurants with fresh seafood. We also have a wonderful farmer's market. Come enjoy!

Stargazer Tiny Cabin

(Winter: Stargazer has a diesel heater and a woodstove but is not insulated. The cabin can be kept quite warm into the low 30's if these heaters are running. Below freezing may freeze pipes, message for info) Rustic off grid tiny cabin tucked in the trees on the back side of a large field. The cabin has solar, kitchenette, shower, composting bathroom, heat, and Wifi! Enjoy being immersed in nature while staying comfortable in a quirky cabin built from local and reclaimed materials.

Located half-way between Mathews and Gloucester on the beautiful North River with views of the Mobjack Bay, New Point Comfort Lighthouse and Gloucester Point. "The Little Red Cabin" aka The Galley

Called the "The Galley". This is the first cabin built on the property. Right on the water with views of the Bay and beach. Galley kitchen, bedroom, small bathroom with shower, family room with a fireplace and dining area. Big screened in porch w/ fabulous breezes. Literally, right on the water!!! NO PETS. Parking for 1 car.

Charming Yorktown Battlefield Cottage

Kick back and relax after a day of touring the historic triangle. This space was originally built as an artists studio for renowned folk artist Nancy Thomas. The amount of natural light is wonderful and there are still some paint remnants from its former days as an artists studio adding to its unique character and history.
