De busrit naar Amsterdam duurt 10 minuten. De bus vertrekt elke 5 minuten vanaf de dichtstbijzijnde bushalte.

Het is een rustig plekje met veel groen en vogels en waar je heerlijk kunt vissen. Dicht bij een strandje waar je kan zwemmen. In de omgeving kan je volop wandelen, fietsen en watersporten. Er is een boten helling en er zijn ligplaatsen. Bij de zeilschool naast het park, kan je boten, surf- en supplank huren of les nemen.
