This lovely traditional "Urker" house is located in the old town of the former island Urk and is listed on the monumental list. Parking is on the towns harbour and is for free, less then 2 min walking, unpacking and loading is possible in front of the house. Supermarket, bakery, butcher, fish shop and restaurants, museum, shops, harbour, lighthouse, churches, playgrounds and beaches are all within minutes of walking. Come and enjoy the surroundings of this beautiful dutch historic town.

Please note: the size of the double bed is 1.40x1.85m. Duvets and pillows are provided. You can bring your own bed linen or can be rented (EUR 9,- p.p.). De vrijstaande woning is gelegen op het erf van de eigenaar zelf, echter zal uw privacy gewaarborgd worden. Op het erf van dit vakantiehuisje bevindt zich een melkveehouderij met koeien waarvan de eigenaar het leuk vind als de kinderen een kijkje komen nemen (ter plaatste bespreken). O. Vanuit verschillende kamers in het huis heeft u een prachtig uitzicht over de landerijen om de woning heen. In de tuin zijn meerdere terrassen waarvan 1 terras onder een overkapping.

Little Africa

You will soon be staying in a very spacious home on beautiful Little Africa, a sculpture garden and gallery of African art, located on the eastern edge of the Noordoostpolder near Blokzijl and the Weerribben. Lovely quiet, the only "noise" comes from the birds. There is a lot of opportunity for hiking or cycling nearby. A fresh egg from our chickens, seasonal fruit from the garden and even honey from our bees are available here in the yard.

The Scheve Door

Midden in het hart van dit mooie oude stadje ligt "de scheve deur". Alle voorzieningen en vertier binnen handbereik. Je logeert in een monumentaal pand , een oude stadsboerderij uit het jaar 1678, waar we zoveel mogelijk de oude stijl hebben teruggebracht. En de oude bedstee intact gehouden. Vollenhove is een prachtig oud stadje en de woning ligt aan verschillende wandel en fietsroutes en vlakbij het mooie nationale park weerribben-wieden.

Lovely cosy tiny house in the middle of pretty Urk

Our house is a nice little cozy home and is right in the middle of the historic part of town near the beach and sea which means everything is in walking distance, shops , restaurants, pubs, a bakery and the Port. A visit to the lighthouse, the museum, the monuments and the IJsselmeer fish market are highly recommended.. Our house can accommodate two people, couples, solo adventurers, cyclists or business travelers.
