The wooden house is located in a quiet residential area not far from Aachen. The forest, with the local recreation area Wurmtal, begins one street further. The guest house is only 10 minutes by car from the Soers (CHIO). Aachen city center can also be easily reached by bus. During Christmas season there is one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Germany and in summer great open-air concerts just above the border (Netherlands). What was once a train track from Boxtel to Wesel has now become a beautiful walking trail through the natural wealth surrounding Houtvennen. Our guest house stands dead centre in this area!
