LAKE AND MOUNTAIN...B&B AL POZZO

Our B&B “Al Pozzo” is part of an old farmhouse restored and refurbished. It is situated right on the path leading to the “Basilica di S. Pietro Al Monte” (http:/www.amicidisanpietro.it), a monument considered to be a jewel of Romanesque art (X-XI century). And further on along the path are our wonderful montains with its Monte Cornizzolo, a peak famous for paragliding (www.cornizzolo.com). Is is a very short distance from the cliffs, where climbing enthusiasts will enjoy various levels of difficulties in this adventurous sport. There are easy links to che cities of Milan, Como, Bergamo, to the picturesque towns of Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio and to Switzerland. And just 4 Km from “Al Pozzo” you can visit the beautiful historical city of Lecco, on Lake Como, with its amazing views famously described in the novel “The Betrothed” by A. Manzoni. A bit about us: we are a family made up of a young couple, Barbara and Beppe, and two children, Ale and Franci, lovers of mountains and nature. We grow our own organic vegetables, we have two dogs and even a stable with twenty odd goats which help us produce a high-quality homemade cheese! You will be able to taste it at breakfast or it you choose to dine comfortably at our typical restaurant part of the farmhouse structure- We are looking forward to your visit!

The room is located in the historical centre of the village in a secluded and silent courtyard and suits couples, private retreats and families...It can be an ideal starting point for day trips on foot, relax and cultural tours on the shores of Lake Como as it is situated within distance from Como (15 km) and Bellagio (20 km). The village is located 600 meters above sea level. The lake can be reached by car in 10 minutes. Parking is outside the village, a 5-minute walk away.The route is uphill.

Dal balcone e dalla terrazza potrai godere la vista del lago e dei monti delle Grigne. Abbiamo un parcheggio privato. L'interno è allegro e colorato, adatto a coppie, famiglie, turisti e stranieri di ogni nazione! La colazione è ricca e abbondante. A soli 10 km si trova l'incantevole Bellagio. Ampia camera matrimoniale in elegante palazzo d’epoca in un quartiere residenziale di fronte al Duomo a pochi minuti dal centro storico e dal lago. La stanza,molto luminosa, ha accesso al balcone privato con sedie e tavolino che permette di rilassarsi e godere del panorama. Il B&B Il Gatto Nero è situato in un casolare del 1904 con struttura in legno e pietra Immerso nei boschi a 700 mt.di altitudine ( siamo in montagna) con stupenda vista lago. A 5 KM. dalle Spiagge, 80 km. Da Milano, 30 km. Da Varese, 40 km. Da Lugano. Adatto per relax fisico e mentale La strada di montagna (a curve) asfaltata che porta alla nostra casa si percorre tranquillamente in 10 minuti d'auto. Noi siamo amanti degli animali, abbiamo cani, diversi gatti, un asino e una capretta
