Our vacation home (new in 2026) is located in the middle of the Netherlands (the Groene Hart) between the towns of Montfoort and Oudewater. There are 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, so plenty of privacy! Ideal for families, groups of friends, and companies. We have excellent connections to the A12/A2 motorways and a bus stop right outside the door, so cities such as Utrecht, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Leiden, Delft, Alkmaar, The Hague, and Gouda, as well as all the major attractions in the Netherlands, can be reached quickly.

Sleeping area can be split so that everyone has their own privacy during the night's rest (see photos). A well-stocked bookcase, a private kitchen, shower and toilet are at your disposal. Windmill close to Amsterdam!!

Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

IJsselstein, Private apartment with private entrance.

Private apartment with its own entrance, its own terrace and its own lockable bicycle shed. Includes a bright living/bedroom, bathroom with toilet and kitchenette. Located in the picturesque town of IJsselstein, at the edge of a quiet residential area. A few minutes walk from the tram stop that takes you into the city center of Utrecht within half an hour. Perfect base for cyclists and hikers. Centrally located for visiting cities like Utrecht and Amsterdam, a few minutes walk from tram stop.

Cherry Cottage

At Cherry Cottage, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful view over the meadows. This stylishly decorated red cedar cottage is fully equipped with every comfort. The wood-fired hot tub can be booked for an additional €60. This gives a Scandinavian experience and includes fresh water, a wooden crate and hammam towels. You can enjoy the hot tub one more time for €15. Payment takes place during the stay, preferably in cash. Breakfast is available by arrangement for €15 per person from 9:00 am.

In the Garden

Looking for a nice place to stay with a lot of privacy? Just outside Utrecht, you will find Bed and Breakfast Au Jardin, where you can enjoy and relax. The guesthouse is at the back of our deep garden. You have your own entrance at the rear of the building. You can also park there. At the front, you can relax on the terrace. The Bed and Breakfast is located in De Meern, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Close to Utrecht and centrally located between Rotterdam, Amsterdam and The Hague.

This location is for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. From the houseboat you have a view of a nature-friendly bank that is ecologically managed by the local residents. You can view the many types of water birds and even the Kingfisher and the Cormorant come to catch a fish every now and then. The water is of very good quality and you can swim from the boat. You can also rent an electrically powered rowing boat from us to explore the area from the water.

From there, you can reach the city center of Utrecht in ten minutes by train. In the immediate vicinity, there are several restaurants.
