You can relax on long walks in beautiful forests or on the idyllic banks of the Rhine with its numerous swimming spots. In 5 minutes you can walk to restaurants, supermarkets, swimming pool and train station. Jestetten is the ideal starting point for excursion destinations such as the Black Forest, Lake Constance/Constance, Zurich and the Alps. Trains to Zurich and Schaffhausen run every half hour.

The Donathütte at Schluchsee

Relax in this charming rustic mountain hut and enjoy the simple life. You will heat the place with a wood-fired oven (you will need to chop the wood yourself). 500m from the lake at the end of a private road and 1km from the trainstation. Bring everything you need for your stay and leave no traces. Important: Be aware that it is your responsibility to clean the hut before checking out and prepare everything for the next guests. Additional fee, Parabel in cash: Tourist tax- 3€ per night/person.

Our apartment (approx. 70 square meters) is located at the edge of the small village of Geschwend, in the Todtnau holiday region. Geschwend has about 410 inhabitants. The place is good for 2-4 people. Couples, solo travelers, business travelers, and families with older children. It includes a double bed on the gallery, as well as a sofa bed in the living area. The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away.
