The steep stairs and low ceilings are part of the charm but may not be for everyone. The brand new full bath offers a sit down shower for taller guests, shorter guests can stand or sit. Guest do not have access to cooking facilities but you are invited to join us for breakfast in the morning everyday.

Our listing fee is what it is-no separate "cleaning fee." We'll always leave you with homebaked goodies, & make sure there are farm fresh eggs in the fridge. Mabel and Harry's guest house is situated in the pristine rural beauty of the Indiana countryside. This historic colonial farmhouse has been renovated into a luxury retreat. A mix of the old and the new: original architectural features and ultra HD TVs; an induction cooktop and a speckled enamelware kettle; antique nightstands and highest quality bamboo sheets and bedding. The house was designed with the intention that our guests will experience the quiet elegance of this country getaway.

Timber West Lodge Lindsay's Room

Spacious log home on 2 acres offers large gathering areas on the main level and patio. Lindsay's room is located upstairs, has a queen bed, twin trundle, private 1/2 bath with full shared bathroom down the hall, work space, walk in closet, & flat screen TV. This is our primary residence, most likely we will be here too. We do have 4 other rooms available if your group needs more space. Tea/coffee/bottled water/snacks available. Surveillance cameras outside for your protection and ours.

We have a large loft area, with a private full bath. It is the whole upstairs in my house. There is no door between the upstairs and downstairs. There is a comfy couch, loveseat with two recliners & a large TV. There are two California Twin Beds pushed together making a King size Bed. We have a stair chair to get up the steep stairs. We have two dogs and a cat & a great backyard with a tiny pond.

Grateful Earth Farm Guest House is on a third generation farm which has the original Arts and Crafts home and barn. Peru, Indiana, is know for its Cole Porter Festival and Circus City Festival as well as Grissom Air Force Base and Miami County Museums. We are a mile from the entrance of the Nickel Plate Bicycle Trail that runs north 20 miles to Rochester and south 20 miles to Kokomo.
