This upstairs suite is in an historic 1917 cottage, in downtown Anchorage, and is a rare find! Steps away from restaurants, bars, convention center, bus station, museum, bike trails, parks and pubs. It shares the building with a hair salon on the main level. With a private entrance, it is upstairs under the attic eaves, so the bathroom ceiling is slanted (FYI super tall people!) quality towels & linens, a full-sized pull out sofa bed in the living room, the queen bed is cool gel memory foam!

Lazy J Homestead Cabin

Located 18 miles outside of Homer. Hand built here on the ranch in the style of my family's hunting cabins; with a few finishing touches. Offering a full kitchen, bathroom , shower, this cabin has electric lights and a oil heater in place of the temperamental wood stoves. Our area offers stunning views of Kachamack bay, our small ranch and peony farm. 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath apartment on the second floor of a duplex. Completely separate unit from the owner's one below, with your own separate full kitchen, bathroom, living room and washer/dryer, etc. Only the main entry/mudroom is a common space (especially useful feature during the cold months, since it prevents the rush of cold air directly into the living spaces!) - the so-called "artic entry". BUT you would also have optional use of a private entrance directly from the yard, if you prefer.
