The Cowboy Cabin

This simple, charming cabin sits atop a green (or white or brown) pasture overlooking Kachemak Bay and two spoiled horses. It has a quiet “out of town” feel, yet, the Spit and downtown homer are only an 8-12 minute drive away. You might find fresh eggs from our hens in the refrigerator if they are producing well! It includes one comfy queen bed, full bathroom with laundry, and a small but capable kitchen. Longer stays here are economical and comftorable.

Historic Russian Cabin With Ocean Views

The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.

It is private but located on a shared property with our home which is ideal for providing assistance with anything you might need from your hosts.

This custom log home boasts cathedral ceilings, stunning lake views, a large covered deck with a grill, trout fishing and a beach full of perfect skipping rocks. The cabin sleeps a total of 7 guests. One room cabin is close to town and shopping but located directly between the Kenai and Kasilof rivers and 30 minutes from Deep Creek Halibut fishing. This private cabin sits at the end of a cul-de-sac in a small, dog friendly neighborhood with Alaska's wilderness at it's back. No smoking. Pets welcome. RV parking upon request
