Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier! Steps away from bikes trails and within blocks of restaurants and city life, most downtown attractions are within walking distance. It is a few minutes walk to museums, convention centers, and the rail depot. Equipped with a king sized, cool memory foam mattress in the bedroom and fully equipped kitchen, this vintage cottage is like brand new!

Come stay in our Alaskan tiny home with a big view! Coffee & tea are provided as well as a homemade breakfast when we are also home. Located close to Wrangell-St.Elias National Park and Valdez. Great location for skiing/hiking Thompson pass or cross country skiing/hiking trails around the property. Handmade log furniture and Alaska themed books and treasures we have collected throughout the years are in the tiny home for your enjoyment. We are dog friendly and have a German shepherd mix.

We aim for you to feel as though you are visiting family. The spacious yard features a large swing set for kids and a sandbox. Pat will likely greet you and give you a verbal tour of Alaska. Fast Wi-Fi. Guests have been treated to moose and babies right outside the back door, ravens, Steller jays, squirrels, and rarely a bear. There are plenty of resources for you to plan your trip. Guests especially like being able to do laundry.
