The Jörgenbauerhütte

The Jörgenbauerhütte is located at 1,400 meters on the Gammeringalm on the border of Upper Austria with Styria. In the meadows around the hut, the alpine cattle graze in summer. Since the hut can only be reached via a private forest path, you can only hear the bells of the cows grazing on the alpine pasture. In the fall you can sometimes hear the tube of the deer - nothing else.
