It is quietly located and only the sound of the Werra can be heard when the windows are open and lulls you to sleep. Lean back & relax... Our one-room apartment was created only with natural building materials. With a lot of love for detail, I have processed natural slate & oak wood here. The high-quality interior invites you to relax. Here, at the gate to the Vogelsberg, among other things, is the entrance to the volcano mountain bike trail "Mühlental." Bike charging station directly at the apartment. Then a sauna session? If you are interested, it is possible to take a tour with my US Oldies ;-)

In the stable – side by side with hen and horse

'IM PFERDESTALL' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the Mühlenanwesen. It used to be a stable. (Be sure to check out my other apartment, 'Scheunen-Loft', too.) The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people seeking a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat up with the stove. See below.

Fw-Hare House

The apartment in the Hasen-Haus is located not far from Lake Affoldern, right at the entrance to the Kellerwald National Park – the perfect start to wonderful hikes. It is about 2 km to Lake Edersee. Around the lake there are countless leisure activities for all ages: the wildlife park, the summer toboggan run, a treetop trail, the climbing park, bike tours, water sports and swimming on and in the lake, a canoe tour on the Eder and much more.
